We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more than we did. The lake is peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoes, paddle board and floats. This listing has everything for a perfect getaway. We played some of the board games and relaxed by the fire. We absolutely want to come back! And our dog loves the water as much as we did.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable house. Great waterfront for swimming, kayaking, fishing, the works. We spent our whole visit on the water. Quiet neighborhood where you can really get away and relax. Would definately reccomend this property.

We had such a great time at this house! It was exactly what we had in mind for our trip. While we initially wished we were a little closer to more attractions and restaurants, we didn’t really feel the need to go out much while enjoying the peacefulness of this property!

Our family had a great time at the lake. We enjoyed peaceful kayak rides, playing in the sand, and a trip into Wolfeboro. We truly enjoyed our stay at the cabin!

We had a great week at the lake. The weather didn’t cooperate everyday so we took a ride to wolfboro about 20 minutes away and also did a day trip to Storyland. We caught some nice bass and enjoyed the sandbar by the island. The fire pit on the beach is great for s’mores and hanging out. We would definitely recommend it.

We spent six nights at this cabin. It more than met our expectations. If we could afford a retirement cabin like this, we would purchase it tomorrow. The place was clean and well supplied. The small private beach has a wonderful fire pit, lit at night. The dock was nice, and kayaks and water toys were available for use. The cabin was perfect. The bed was reasonably comfortable. There were fans in every room. The bathroom is small, but it's a vacation cottage. I fished from the dock (I am age 70) and caught the largest bass I have caught ever. We had great weather, but enjoyed the wood stove one evening. The hosts communicated well, as we panicked when our access code to the home didn't work. We called and they got right back to us and we were able to get in. I hope to rent this property again next year. It would be perfect for a family with kids.

The place was so adorable and had everything we needed for a great family vacation. We swam, fished and boated right from the place.

The lake is wonderful, and the hosts were great! They communicated with us prior to our arrival, and answered all our questions.

We had an amazing time! This home is perfectly located in a small cove that gives you complete privacy while still being connected to all the fun the lake can provide. Mornings and evenings were so peaceful and the days were filed with fun on the water- kayaking, canoeing and swimming and relaxing. What a great place!

Had a good time even though our trip was cut short. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come again!

Unfortunately this was not a great stay for us. Sunrise Lake has TOXIC algae that blooms from time to time. Check the DES website before booking or arriving!! We were not aware of this possibility-there is no advisory in the listing. The lake was under warning during our visit, dangerous to kids or pets! We could not swim or let our dog anywhere near the water. Also because the house sits in a cove, all the lake debris ends up here-trash, dead fish, leaves, duck poop, etc. We specifically came here for the lake (we live close by) so it was a waste of $$$. The house itself is cute and was clean, with good wifi. However the inside temp got to 84 the first night and 87 the next! Impossible to sleep or be comfortable with only 1 ceiling fan and a window fan. It was unbearable. We ended up departing early. I would not return here-there are sooo many lake rentals in NH and ME and now that I know that this lake can be TOXIC, I'd avoid it.

This adorable house has the best location! The private beach was amazing! We caught so many fish and spent all our time enjoying the beach and yard.

We did not want to leave! We have a beautiful home, with a river and pond yet there was peace and tranquility here at the Middleton cabin we don't have at home (in the woods) Ha~ go figure... The cabin is amazingly comfortable. You get that welcome feeling the minute you walk in the door. It could use a upgrade on the bed. Rustic cabin with all the amenities included. We enjoyed going out on the lake in the kayak and canoe. Lots of privacy and quiet neighborhood. Loved seeing the bald eagles and a pair of loons with their young. Great place for family to spend time together!

Great Lake house with all amenities and toys. Our family of 4 stayed for 3 nights. We fished off the dock, took the canoe to the island several times, laid in the hammock, fished off the dock (and my daughter caught her first ever fish!), played corn hole, had a campfire in the huge fire pit, BBQ on the grill and ate on the deck. and I kayaked and explored the lake a little every da. It rained on and off for 24 hours so we did spend a little more time indoors than we thought, but the cabin was clean, comfortable and kept us entertained during the rain. Only complaint my wife had is that there is 1 piece of the cat puzzle missing, so be warned! I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away and enjoy some lake living.

The cabin is very well equipped and comfortable. The lake was clean. The sunsets were amazing! Even had a little fireworks show across the cove one night. No grocery stores very close and no place for eating out but we brought all the food we needed (except for coffee -so we made a 45 min run to Farmington Market Basket and back). Throughly enjoyed our 4 days and look forward to a return visit.

The cabin was everything we could have asked for and more. It is a beautiful, quiet location with plenty of fun activities for the family to do on the water. We would definitely return for another visit.

Cozy and private, with a great beach arrangement, deck, water toys, and a modern kitchen. Sleeping arrangements were as advertised and are particularly well suited for families. The lake out front of the beach is quite shallow and best suited to young children,. Lake water quality is a focus of the Sunrise Lake Watershed Management Plan. Google it.

Fourth year staying at the Martin's lakehouse, and each year it gets better and better! We love the privacy and amenities offered, especially when traveling with our beloved dog (which most other rentals do not allow). This year we were happily surprised to see the improvements of the beach area.. firepit, wall and stairs. Once again the lake did not disappoint. Fishing was great, we caught many large mouth bass, and perch, right off the dock. The sounds of the loons in the evening I will forever cherish. Already looking forward to year 5!

Our 3rd summer staying at the cabin and we're always sad to leave. Our toddlers had so much fun playing in the sand and water. We loved kayaking. Can't wait to come back next year!

This cabin is so cozy and lovely- and obviously a much-love family home, which makes it all the more inviting. We loved the wonderful neighborhood and the spacious deck and yard. The lake was completely frozen over so it looked like an extension of the snowy beach. We had a great Christmas and New Year and thoroughly enjoyed chilling in the cabin, super well-equipped and comfy. Wolfeboro has great ahops and dining options. We loved exploring the whole winnepesaukee region - we hope to come back.

We enjoyed the lake. But disappointed on the cleanliness of the cabin. We made the best of things. The cabin itself was a cute little place. Just needed a real good cleaning , fresh throw rugs, updated furniture., as it was not clean. Luckily we brought extra blankets and comforters.

This cottage was exactly what we needed. It's truly a home away from home. Quiet and peaceful, clean and has everything you need. We can't wait to rent again.

This place on Sunrise Lake was perfect! We loved the privacy and our own little beach. The water was so warm. Our kids and dog loved swimming or paddle boarding to the small island and swimming around the sand bar. The house was just the right size for us and just the lakeside look we were hoping for!

Such a great place to stay with a family that includes their dog with everything they do. Right on the water. Quiet, peaceful. Plenty of amen

We were looking for a short term getaway for 3 adults and 2 teenagers, that allowed pets. This place worked out great for us and it was easy to find. We spent most of our time on the deck and out on the water. Nice private cove all to ourselves, but we went out on the kayaks exploring every day. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, and there’s a Weber gas grill next to the deck. Owners did a great job setting this place up for visitors. We would stay here again.

Just what we were looking for. My wife, 1 year old daughter, dog and I could not have been happier with our stay. Beautiful lake. Beautiful cabin. Amazing beach that walks right into the water. Close to wolfeboro. If your looking for a lake retreat, I recommend this spot.
