It was amazing to see the deets so up close and personal it was breathtaking. The place was amazing the upstairs loft look over amazing. The response time from both Mike and his team was admirable. We really enjoyed ourselves. Not too far from Louis Steakhouse with was a fav!! And the dollar general right around the corner has produce so this place is really that place with location. Will go again and will book this place!!

Exactly as described, calm location. The house has everything you need to disconnect for a few day still keep in touch with the world Lake was close because of bacteria, that was bummer (owner directed us to another lake near by, that was very kind)

I understand that the place is pet friendly but I was abit taken back when I walked in… the smell of dog was overwhelming, and the counter was dirty. On Friday we packed up and headed to lake, which was closed and no water activities. That was extremely disappointing since the entire reason I rented a place was for the lake.

Very nice location and property. Mike was easy to get in touch with and had everything nicely set up for us. Very enjoyable stay! Community is wonderful. The kids really has a great time swimming, hiking, and paddle boating. Would return!

We enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room and it was clean and quiet. Beach was fun and lots of places to hike! Hosts were great with communication and listing was accurate! I would stay there again!

What a joy. After 2 years of being home in the city, we were dying to go somewhere quiet with wildlife. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed a big snow storm in which the fireplace made us feel extra cozy. The owner immediately sent over someone to shovel at the snow so we could easily walk and get our car out. Before the snow, we LOVED seeing all the deer around. We had no complaints at all. The communication from the owner was so fast, it was great. We will definitely return to this home!

Provided for a nice short stay to be with family. Area was very nice and we all enjoyed the wild life. Jim Thorpe is definitely worth the trip but get there early as traffic and parking become a nightmare.

Had a nice time at the property! Mike was very quick to reply to all communications. It was just myself and my partner and two dogs - dogs had a lovely time. Beach was closed for season due to bacteria, and pool/hottub also closed which was a bit disappointing. Tennis courts were lovely, and some nice hiking nearby. House was clean, although can tell based on how my dogs were sniffing at one spot on the carpet when we first arrived that a previous doggie guest had likely peed in that spot. Have to bring all bedding/towels/blankets which was fine but would have been nice to have some available on site. Neighbors are closer than I was expecting, but everyone was quiet so wasn't an issue. Overall very nice time, will likely be back with larger group as the value probably isn't worth it for just two people in such a large property.

It’s a nice house, very good location and nice neighborhood. I know it’s pet friendly but it smelt like it which completely turned me off. We had to keep the windows open the entire time to try to help with the smell. The house was clean but needs updating. The comforters that were there were stained. If there were clean linens including towels it would have been better for the price. Once you add all the fees including the cleaning fee it’s too expensive for what you get. The owners were very good with communication.

My husband and I (and our pooches) really enjoyed our stay here. Michael was really great about communicating with us and helping us with our questions about the area. The neighborhood is lovely, and the deer walk around peacefully. Very quiet and comfortable. Would stay again.

We had a great time at this spacious, clean and well-equipped property. 3 adults and 3 kids. Hosts were responsive when we needed something. Centrally located in Poconos made day trips easy. Nice community area and close state park nearby with great beach. Enjoyed day trips to Lego Land and Dorney Park, local breweries and waterfalls. Loved the front and back decks for relaxing and the wildlife. Nice kitchen. Great stay, would recommend!

From start to finish the rental process was easy. The house was beautiful and in great condition. When we arrived the cleaners had not done very well but the owner fixed the situation in under an hour. As far as I see it, this isn’t an issue with the owner at all. The community itself was amazing. We were a short distance from the pool, beach and clubhouse which were all very well maintained. The house itself is in very close proximity to many restraints and activities for families.

Liked my stay a lot, surrounded by woods and deer. My dog enjoyed himself immensely. Only problem was internet connection was lacking for most of our stay, which was a big issue with the men

Perfect place for our family of 4 to get away and enjoy the outdoors. We visited a different park for a hike each day. The house was perfect for us. And, the foosball table was a hit.

It was the perfect location to meet with family to celebrate a birthday and spend some much needed time together. We cooked together and enjoyed playing some of the games at the house and overall ambiance.

The house was beautiful and the neighborhood peaceful. The only complaint I had was the host after I booked my reservation demanded a security deposit when it said to pay it upon check in. He then threatened to give my room that was already paid for to another party because I didn't answer his email for 30mins because I was at work. I loved the house and area but due to that experience i doubt i would stay with this host again.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy home! The open flow of the living room/kitchen/game room kept us all together. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a getaway.

Nice and sunny property in a Towamensing Community in PA. The property is situated in the forest, walking distance to the tennis courts. It is clean and well stocked. There is a dishwasher, washer dryer and bbq. There is no A/C but nights in the forest get pretty fresh, and cold even. Coolest selection of mugs. Loved the house! Although the house is well-stocked and nicely kept, I found the community Itself to be less so. The tennis courts were locked down and looked like they were not used for years. The beach parking was over-crowded always. Due to CoVId the pool and cabana were closed off as well. Which is fine, but tennis courts? Also, the Policy of driving up to the communal garbage collector with your own rubbish was rather unusual. On the scale of all things, these are rather small cons when weighed against the pros of living in the woods in a beautiful well-kept house and enjoying the clean forest air. Would def. come again. Must bring thicker trash bags, though.
