We arrived to a beautifully located home with a picturesque view of the lake through tall gum trees. The house was as described and pictured, clean and well appointed. There was plenty of space to spread out and have your own restful timeout. We especially loved the upstairs deck area. Gerard was a great host with very clear communication and he kindly allowed us to have a late check-out so that we had time to pack up and fit in with the grandkids nap time. We would happily stay here again.

My family and our fur baby had a wonderful 5 night stay in your beautiful Jacaranda Beach house. We found it clean, beautifully furnished, kitchen well stocked and a great layout with plenty of room downstairs for the kids. It is a light and sunny house with a large verandah to enjoy afternoon drinks with glimpses of the Lake and amazing sunsets. The downstairs bathroom is beautiful. We will definitely be back as this house has it all to keep everyone happy. Thanks so much for a relaxing break.

The rental was good and in a great location. A second gas bottle for the BBQ would be nice as we ran out 10min into the cook. Also could do with some kitchen basics like salt and oil.

We had a beautiful stay at this clean Jacaranda house. It was a quick 2 minutes walk to a breathtaking lake, it was calm and serene we all loved walking there every day. The house looked like it was recently renovated. The kitchen and the bathroom was spacious and clean. We would love to return again sometime in the near future. One little room for improvement: all the cooking pans were not the coated ones and everything we cooked just stuck to the pan.. we had a hard time washing them. They looked like it's been overused by previous visitors; perhaps it's time to renew them. ;)

This house is in a great setting looking out though the trees filled with Kookaburras and king parrots. It has water glimpes and is 2 mins walk from the lake. The house is fresh and clean although there is some evidence of furry friends which is to be expected when dogs are welcome. It has a very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedding, clean bathrooms and wonderful decks. We enjoyed our stay. I would like to return.

Only a short 3 day stay and the cold winds did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful patio. This also made the house colder as there were no blinds but aside from that a beautiful place to have some R & R - just too short a time

Had a wonderful time staying in Gerard's house. Perfect layout for our 2 families. The house was clean, had comfy beds and was stocked well with everything we needed. We especially loved afternoon's on the deck, watching the sun go down. Communication with the owner was easy during the booking process and the stay. Would definitely recommend a stay to anyone looking for a lovely house near the lake.

The house is big and beautiful, plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 dogs. Plenty of places to sit and chill out. checked out the beaches close by. Highly recommend Gerald, he is a great host. Thankyou for letting us stay in your beautiful house, we loved every minute.

The photos don’t do the property justice. The house, with its tongue and groove walls, exposed beam ceilings has a cool, beachy vibe. Having x living areas (3 if you include the outdoor sofas) make it very comfortable for large families especially with teens. Lovely leafy outlook and a short walk down to a dog friendly lakeside beach - which you can leisurely walk round for 30 minutes round to The Frothy Coffee boat shed. Local bakery, bottleshop, grocery store and cafe is a 2 minute drive or larger supermarket is 10 minutes away. Blueys beach village is a 15 minute drive and Forster about 25 minutes away. Smiths Lake is peaceful, quiet and a great place to get away from it all. Gerard the owner was great to deal with too. Highly recommended!

Lovely place

The house was a perfect way to celebrate my husbands 60th with our adult children and pooch Archie. Great balcony for Archie to watch the birds and people by the lake, comfortable beds, good space for everyone. Definitely will return. Thank you
