It had a game room and laundry area and it was in a great location.
The LED lights outside never came on and the gas heater in the living room gave off a bad smell.

Great stay at Alpine Log Cabin. The hosts were very communicative and the cabin was exactly as advertised.
The only thing that detracted from our stay was outside of the hosts control. The neighboring property has a large dog that, without exaggeration, barks every second of the day and night. It definitely affected our sleep and took away from the otherwise peaceful setting. I hope it was just a fluke for our three day stay, but that dog was consistent for our stay.

I’m a person with OCD and allergies the furniture could be updated I would suggest a rustic look, I was surprised to find no tissue or paper towels just something I thought should have been supplied by owner.

Our family was greeted with a warm fire in a well-organized yet inviting and cozy cabin.
Everything we needed was provided except our food and even then, many items needed for cooking were there as well.
The location was perfect as it was close to Boone, Blowing Rock, and snow tubing at Hawksnest.
The gameroom was over the top. Something to do for everyone.
The only complaint our group had (NOT THE OWNER'S FAULT) was that our trip was only for the weekend... We would love to have a week to come and stay in the future.
It was a wonderful experience🤗

This is a beautiful cabin in Seven Devil’s. It’s close to lots of activities. It is kid friendly and has a great game room. This house has so many amenities and extras. It had everything you need to enjoy a stress free vacation. I would highly recommend this house for your stay.

Great location about halfway between Boone and Banner Elk. Clean and spacious cabin, enjoyed game room. Beautiful overlooking view.

very clean, very peaceful and the mountain views were beautiful! I love how the owners left brochures and valuable information to make our stay even more confortable and convenient. Great location! Great views! I highly recommend this beautiful cabin to those who want a peaceful getaway.

Very cozy and peaceful. Very clean. We had everything we needed and more. Owners were especially nice people.
I think we may have come after the Terminix man sprayed and stirred up the spiders. There were small spiders present and we all think we were bitten at some point since we had bites over our bodies. We realize too that this was not a busy time of year. Otherwise we had a great stay and would highly recommend and consider for future stays.

The host tried to anticipate the wide variety of needs a guest might have. Lots of good information before arriving and well detailed notebooks with loads of detailed information. And the Seven Devils neighborhood is just a short drive from all the other Boon/Blowing Rock and Banner Elk activities
Pay careful attention to the speed bump just before you get to the cabin. It can jar your teeth loose!
