Beautiful hotel fantastic staff
Surprised breakfast wasn’t included, given the price. We were on the 1st floor and the music from a function was quite loud, but room was very comfortable so we slept well.

Iconic building. Staff are friendly and attentive without being submissive. Rooms are fine, if a little small and the view isn't great - unless you are at the front of the building.
The residents bar (after 11 ) option is not great. Feels like a bit of a barn / conference space. And the service was poor. I'd expect more from such an iconic hotel. If that's all they can provide it might be better not bothering at all.
Breakfast ( room service ) was very average.

Beautiful hotel - the rooms are amazing and hotel has so much history and is truly stunning. Restaurants were amazing and afternoon tea was one of the best I have had. Can’t wait to visit again.

Excellent location, good breakfast.
Room wasn’t ready at 3:00. Rooms are fine but on the smaller side. Tried to get concierge to help me book a difficult restaurant (I’ve had luck having nice hotels call in Barcelona, Paris, etc, but here they basically just told me what I already knew). I’m nitpicking but the shelbourne is the most famous hotel in Ireland!

The location, staff, the bars, the restaurant, the food, the small but excellent wine list … this hotel is A-Z perfection. Many thanks to all who made it that way!

The location is great
There is a lack of areas to just sit and read a newspaper. If you are not a drinker then there is nowhere to be other than one of several bars.

The hotel is fabulous and staff are very friendly, it is in a prime location in dublin centre with so many wonderful places so close by. The food and service in The Saddle Room restaurant was amazing, our room was nice and quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Breakfast…. Was dreadful and very disorganised . Accommodation was completely overpriced… even for The Shelbourne €829.00 for one night in double bed!
