Life is tough and sometimes you need time to be alone in a peaceful place. This cabin was just what I needed. Plus its so close to the lake and hiking trails too. Really found it tranquil. The screened in porch was perfect as well. Cozy and quiet. Thank you

We got so lucky with this VRBO Rental, the Location is amazing with trails so close to the Cabin....and it's a real mountain cabin with wood details and back screen porch that makes you feel like you are in the trees. The property was well loved, we always consider it a bonus when this turns out to be a family getaway home and not just a rental. Check in and communication was professional and quick. You can walk out the door and down gravel roads that lead to a trail to the lake, that's out the back door! The Aska Trails are only 10 minutes down the road. We were there one night alreay wondering when we can go back and rent this cute mountain cabin. We loved it.

Very cozy cabin. We loved our stay, doing a lot of hiking and exploring the area. The owners were great communicating with us and always got back to us very quickly when we had a question.

Loved our stay in Blueridge. Cabin was cozy and had all that we needed for a girls getaway. Loved the trails behind the house which is a short hike to the beautiful lake. Looking forward to coming back!!

This cabin would be good for a home base for hikers. Not a destination stay cabin. Doesn’t have that “in the mountains” feel. Bed is too small for a couple, needs updates. Was clean. No washer/dryer or dishwasher. The screen porch was nice.

Great space with easy access to the property. Not far from the downtown area of Blue Ridge but far enough away not to hear any noises from town. All nature. Cabin is a fair size and very comfortable and clean. I will stay here again.

The cabin is in an excellent location that makes you feel secluded but only a five minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. There are several things to do within the area and the scenery is beautiful. The cabin is very comfortable and the screened in back porch and deck area are the best parts. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and on the grill. The grill worked great and was clean. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to cook basic meals but some of the pans/pots needed to be cleaned prior to using. The queen bed in the master was not very comfortable so we purchased a memory foam pad and it worked great! Before and during our vacation, communication was great and I was able to get ahold of Christine very easily! Overall we had an excellent trip and would recommend Mac's Cabin!

This cabin is amazing! It is very comfortable and the perfect place to relax. The back deck and screens in patio are wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful view!

We loved our stay at the cabin. As advertised it was very close to many fun things to do. We enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit. Our biggest concern was the comfort level of the mattresses in both bedrooms along with the fact there was no tv in what was considered the master. The other minor concern was over the dust and cobwebs along with no dishwasher which gave us pause as to cleanliness. Overall though we did enjoy our time there.

Enjoyed our stay at Mac’s cabin! If you’re looking for a quiet, internet connected place with a wonderful screened in porch to drink your morning coffee and read, this is your place. Close to Ingles, the lake, Aska road, and downtown blue ridge. We hope to get back to Mac’s cabin.

We had a great time staying at Mac's shack. It was so simple, charming and peaceful. The backpack was like a tree house and it was close to everything. Hope to go back one day.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this cozy cabin. It was perfect for my husband and I . We even brought our 7 year old beagle who enjoyed all the amazing smells on our walks.

Great place for our family. Relaxed a lot on the screened porch listening to only the woods. Hiked a trail about 10 minutes from cabin. Great restaurants! Really nice getaway.

Cabin was very pretty, and very convient for exploring the area. We went for the Apple orchards, and loved the town. Cabin is in a neighborhood with neighbors on both sides, but it was still quite peaceful on the screened porch

Quiet, clean and convenient. Hidden surprise was the walking trails in the woods just down the road! The dogs and I loved it!

We stayed for a month in February and the location was perfect. We came to explore and do some hiking and boy did we find it. So many trails nearby so little time. The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. Communication with owners was easy. We will stay again when in town .

Very clean and comfortable. Great location, minutes to Blue Ridge marina and minutes to downtown.No problem with checking in or out. Owners easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time, the cabin location is fantastic. We hiked near the cabin and around the neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals there which included breakfast everyday and dinner every night. It was amply spacious for us (party of 4) and we especially enjoyed the screen porch!

Nice spot to explore North Georgia area . . . only had one bird flying inside the back porch . . . only one squirrel checking up on us day and night . . . only one wasp sting while sitting on the couch . . .
