Nowadays hotel without a/c when outside temperature is 38 C, is not accepted. Rooms facing in the Square can not open the windows due to noise. All day kifs playing and can not sleep or rest.

Easy connection by metro to the Guggenheim museum. Backside room is quiet. Close to restaurants.

Not possible to stop the car in front of the reception. Unclear that the hotel parking garage at the back can be entered immediately before check-in. One of the receptionists was not very friendly and helpful.

Hotel conveniently located for the Bilbao - Portsmouth ferry, easy to find and easy to get back onto the road for the ferry. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel clean and tidy and well run.

We book this hotel as it is close to the ferry port, it has a good secure garage but you have to pay per motorbike even though 4 only took up 1 space. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds but no air conditioning

Room was spacious and the (cold) breakfast was sufficiently varied. It was also cleaned and there was a secure parking option

The hotel is in a busy roundabout on the first floor. We had a family room that was right on the corner and it was VERY noisy. Windows are not really double glazed and wouldn't stop the noise. There is also a bus stop right below the hotel and you could hear every single bus and car. The room was also rather cold, and it had central heating radiators which you can't control. It wasn't particularly cold outside for winter, so I dread to think how cold can it get when temperatures really go down. I also couldn't see any air conditioning facilities.

The room smelt awful of stale cigarettes. Very awful!!!!! For no smoking hotel

Stayed here before lovely staff very helpful excellent english which helped us so much. Good parking facilities good continental breakfast included in the price. Nice bars and restaurants in the area.

Nice breakfast lady ( though breakfast very poor) Reception stuff not too bad , but not very welcoming . Unfortunately there wasn’t anything I like . Regretting staying there

There wasn’t any cattle / tea coffee facilities, no air conditioning etc . There was a very low level windows opening though not safe for my small child . There wasn’t any restaurants around, ( though we walk for 30 min to the river , and could not find any restaurants, only bars full of loud drinkers ) my children was hungry , we all was so tired ending up sleeping on those cheap , uncomfortable beds . I do regret staying there, though we could stay at premier inn few miles away for same money, sleeping in a comfort . Breakfast was such a cheap , cheapest ham / cheese . Some jams and butter , also croissants. Nothing hot . Unfortunately I feel I had a bad experience, wouldn’t go for this one ever again definitely. Stunk with urine ( possible from outside )

Rooms are big and clean, breakfast ok.

Too many sounds coming from the street (people and car) or if some other room is in toilet, feels like water is braking the walls. Durring the day there was also a lot of sounds from the upper floor. Strange parking not included in price.

I was travelling with my parents and it can be very difficult to find hotel rooms for three adults as many hotels ask that you book a second room! This hotel had rooms for three people available so that saved me some money. That's about the only good thing about the hotel.

The location of the hotel is pretty bad. I'm not going to review the town - there's very little to do here - just where the hotel was. It's on the top of a hill and the parking is also steep to get to. This means that if you aren't able to walk very far, it's a pretty bad choice. There are also very few open restaurants in the area as many were closed or just not serving food. The hotel breakfast is at a good price though.

We only booked an affordable night somewhere near our ferry but were positively surprised with this hotel. Good parking facilities, very nice staff and comfortable family room for 5. We were also recommended a nearby restaurant and didn't disappoint either. Breakfast was a small buffet but nice quality food. All in all a win with this one!

Location was fab lovely bars and restaurants near by. friendly staff who spoke with good English. Nice buffet style breakfast continental. Parking underneath the hotel.
