This is a family-run hotel located on a main street in Dubrovnik. The room I stayed in was larger than I needed and all the staff were incredibly helpful. For me, the main selling point of the property was the location. The walk into the Old (walled) City is all down a series of stairs (public sidewalks) of cobblestone. It's an easy walk and hard to get lost on the way there. Of course, the walk back to the hotel is back UP those very same stairs. On the way to the Old City you'll find a good size convenience store (market) and a pizza place with a small self-service laundry facility (useful if you're on a longer trip).

The hosts was so helpful and friendly. The sisters went above and beyond their service for me, my family and 2 other families we travelled with. They even offered us drinks and snacks as we checked in. The facility was clean and up to date. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. We will recommend this hotel to all.

The room was nice and the bed was quite big. There was a kettle and some tea left for us in the room. The towels were changed during our weekend stay. The location is outside the city centre but it's not a long walk to the old town.

It's a bit misleading that the rooms description on the booking page shows that double room come with either bath or shower and in the apartment we learned that they all have only shower.

We were a large group (3 families, total 15) traveling together. The Villa was able to accommodate us comfortably. Clean, cute villa and great location. About a 15 min walk into the city center. Nearby to restaurants and shops. Doris was amazing setting everything up for us to make this vacay special (transportation to and from the airports, breakfast, info on dining and activities, and setting up cake and drinks for a birthday celebration). The service at Villa Dard was exceptional and went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend!!! We loved it so much… we didn’t want to leave.

We were on the 1st floor and the room was very noisy. It was not possible to close the broken door - we must lock the door every time..

Vila Dard is located close to the Old Town, an easy 10 minute walk down some city steps to the gates - the climb up at night is not for the faint hearted, especially in the August heat, but we managed with my 70 year old mom and 10 yr old. The two bedroom suite was comfy for our group of 6 with a one and a half baths. However, there was no electricity in our room when we came back at night and we had to search for someone to help us. There was also no hot water when we arrived and it took over an hour for the water to warm up which wasn't ideal. The hotel is on a main, noisy road so you really can't enjoy the the terrace. It seems like they are doing some interior work as well. However, the hostesses were very friendly.

Loved loved loved this hotel! It was such an amazing place to stay - made our visit to Dubrovnik just perfect! The hosts were so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious - fresh and filling. Our room was huge and spotless. It was a quick trip down a bunch of stairs to get to the main tourist area - back up at the end of the day was a little longer but it was nice knowing we were coming back to our great little hotel.
