the prices at the sky lounge bar are abit too high.. they don’t serve nuts and crisps with drinks which is for me obvious in such a classy bar

not clean in the room, looks like it was blood or coffee mark on the cabinet. no cleaning done even though we were gone for 4 hours and hang the sign. lunch was horrible - chicken was not cooked.

Lovely spa - reasonably priced for a **** hotel. We arrived by bike from Konstanz via Stein am Rhein - a lovely cycle also

With this price we should get our luggage to be carred directly to the room. The bar outside was very noisy, do not reserve it in the weekend

Dinner options were limited. Menu just a single fixed menu with choice of three mains. This might be their ‘ spa thing’.

Fantastic breakfast. I miss the bread already! Wonderful spa facilities. One of the best massages I’ve had. Excellent staff. Skyspresso and bar man top notch.

More extensive options for vegetarians in the cafe and restaurant- there are options but if you are staying for more than a few days it is quite repetitive.

rooms not properly cleaned from previous occupants ( artefacts from previous occupants still in the room ) tv remote covered in chocolate & light switches & nightstand absolutely not cleaned from previous occupants. this is what you expect from a normal hotel room cleaning in normal times I don’t even speak about in Covid times… when you know that the region is going towards 2G alert mode for Covid you think that they could be a bit more careful! compensation after complaint was a bottle of Sekt ( value less than 15€ it’s not about the money just the gesture in our opinion doesn’t fit with the level of neglect ) with a letter of excuse saying they are thinking internally about what they could do more for us. upon check out it was as nothing happened still waiting on feedback which I believe will never come. breakfast is becoming worst with time ( quality & variety of food) during weekends there is absolutely not enough place nor staff for all people staying at the hotel. people wait in line for tables that are not made. egg orders aren’t taken anymore ( during the week days they are taken ) staff are absolutely overwhelmed. our room was close to the rooftop bar that keeps their doors wide open to attract clients in. resulting in lots of noise and little rest & sleep. while in the spa especially in the Japanese area you will suffer from the load music played on the terrasse of the rooftop bar. i believe here they have forgotten the modo of this hotel : good service, positive & calm atmosphere to enable relaxation of their clients. what I can see from previous stays is that staff members seem to be much younger. I assume a lack of training could be one element of answer to this situation resulting in a certain unprofessionalism and loss of the hotel values.

We stayed in the Japanese Suite for our wedding anniversary. The handwritten welcome card and champagne were very impressive. The size of the room was just right for two people, and it was bright with a large window. "Japanisches Onsenbad" can be recommended even for real Japanese (if you don't mind mixed bathing). The roast beef for dinner was excellent!

The hair dryer sometimes didn't work properly, so we were provided with a replacement hair dryer. But there was no power outlet in the lavatory at all, which was a problem... I could not use my own hair iron, either. This is definitely something that needs to be improved.

Trendy furnitured room, quite spaceous, nice view on the lake, very good choice of breakfast, friendly, kind and helpful staff, beautiful sauna world, alltogether very relaxing experience! In the vicinity of Constance, with e-bike rental offered by the hotel worth one day e-bike trip. We were very satisfied and would definitely book again. Thank you! :o)
