I am often to travel to Shell Miri and this hotel location is very near to One Shell Miri with easy access to mall and eateries (within walking distance). The staff is very helpful and easy to communicate.

Big room, nice staff, very nice breakfast, easy access to shop, stall, etc.

Room upgraded to junior suite cause the room that we booked earlier was not available. The room was spacious and clean, NO odd smell even though its an old hotel. Comfy pillow and bed. Water pressure is good too.
We requested for baby cot, the staff already take note and inform us he will ask the staff to send the baby cot to our room. Unfortunately when we return back to the hotel there was still no baby cot so we called the receptionist and he said housekeeper went back home already and no one can send the baby cot to our room but The baby cot is still available btw.

Music sound from nearby eateries that open 24h very disturbing. Loud sound until 4 am.

The strategic location..
I have always love Mega hotel since it’s in the heart of the city. The last time I stayed here was before covid.. & this time I was so disappointed. The hallway smelled like an old place (I know it is but if you maintained it well, the smelled won’t be there). I have a few issues with my room : (Room 319)
1. On the ceiling in my room, there were plenty of “kamitetep”. (you can google how it looks)
2. Some plugs are not working.
3. Toilet leakage.
4. Bathroom are not properly cleaned.
5. Dirty air vents.
6. The air vent in the bathroom is not working.
I was too tired to request for room change. But I guess that would be my last stay in Mega Hotel..

I hope you can provide parking space around the ground floor due to from the basement does not provide any lift
