The scenery is absolutely amazing. Very secluded

Not being able to use the outdoor area due to a pest problem. Black type slugs everywhere. Wouldve been nice if it was mowed so we could walk around and look at the kangaroos. Lack of heating in the main bedroom was also an issue.

The view was amazing and the location was beautiful. Was perfect to unwind and recharge the batteries. Beautiful facilities to cook. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is spectacular- amazing views; so peaceful; beautiful beach (to yourself most of the time).

Loved everything

Everything, the location was fantastic, it was quite private and the view of the beach was sensational. The facilities were excellent. The décor was very tasteful and really made the stay special. The little added touches like fresh milk in the fridge were really appreciated. Above all this is a very special location and one of the best places I have stayed at to unwind and enjoy the quite and be in touch with nature.

Unfortunately the property “Sky House” fell short of our expectations as follows; the photos shown on booking.com did not represent the current state of the house the patio area only had one sun lounge (without any cushioning) and not two lounges with cushioning as shown on your site the outdoor area is very tired looking with the pavers lifting and weeds poking up through the pavers.. inside the kitchen cabinetry is mostly not closely properly. most of the cabinetry doors required manual handling to open and close them properly the front door was faulty.. on occasion, if the door swung shut due the wind it would lock you out both from the inside and out.. further to this there were mice inside the property… I understand that this can be a problem in a rural property however the first night I was unable to sleep because they were moving around in our bedroom..,on closer inspection the windows in the bedroom area were unable to be completely closed and there were holes in the fly screen where it would appear the mice had chewed through… for the money we were spending on this property each night we expected more… the owner of this property MUST invest in fixing this up if you want to maintain a 9.5 rating …

We loved everything about this property. It was easy to find and as soon as we opened the door it felt like we were in heaven. The property is beautiful, so serene and peaceful, with amazing attention to detail…. And the views are to die for! We loved the view from the windows and the short walk to what was essentially a private beach. Everything we could have wished for was provided and the bed was wonderful to sleep in, lovely crisp white sheets. We had a booking at the near by restaurant, which while expensive, was excellent. I highly recommend and would do again in a heart beat. Other guests had a long drive back, to us it was a short drive up the hill… A truly magical stay, which I am grateful to have been able to experience.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that our stay was over too quickly , leaving the property was the only problem I had with this place…. Yes, it’s that good.

The location is outstanding. Sitting just above Snelling Beach, you have a perfect view in addition to having your own path down to the beach.

Nothing really to speak of. I guess the only small thing is that the main picture window has been replaced by Anselite plastic (that wavy, see-through plastic that's used for deck rooves), which means you can't see through it terribly well. But that's only something small.

Location, location, location! We stayed in the Beach Retreat for three nights as part of our ten year wedding anniversary celebrations. It was beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. We also indulged in “The Feast” by Gastronomo which we enjoyed.
