** The apartment has a great view of the sea. It is very peaceful sitting on the porch looking out at the lovely view. ** Scopello is a lovely village with excellent restaurants. The apartment is within walking distance.

** The listing is very misleading. If you are considering booking this property, you should be aware that there are two separate apartments in the same villa. One of these apartments has a swimming pool and the other does not. When we viewed the listing this was not made clear (although certain updates have since been made to the description). At the time of booking there appeared to be only one apartment remaining that was available, which was the one without a swimming pool. Despite this, the listing still included the main photo of the pool and explicitly advertised ‘1x swimming pool’ as being included within the facilities. It was only upon arrival at the property that it became evident that this wasn’t the case. ** The host is rude and pushy As per previous reviews, the host is very pushy and rude. Unfortunately the host only exacerbated our disappointment. Firstly by blaming us for not reading the listing carefully enough. Then by: (I) suggesting that the two apartments are the same (even though factually that is untrue) ; (ii) seeking to correct the issue on the website that we had identified in an apparent attempt to cover up the misleading nature of the listing; and (iii) blaming booking.com when we demonstrated that the swimming pool was still listed as available on the website, even when the relevant apartment had already been booked. During our stay the host continued to harass us about this issue and told us she couldn’t be blamed for the confusion. So while the apartment is on the outskirts of a beautiful village of Scapello and has a great view of the sea, we recommend that you look elsewhere.

Fantastic villa with private pool at the back and in front a perfect seaview. Close to wonderful beach. Villa with all facilities and excellent communication with owner.
