Comfortable bed. Large room. Swimming pool. Close to beach. Reception staff and concierge polite and respectful. Lovely view of the beach from balcony on the 4th floor. Pleasant stay.
Hotel in some parts a little bit tatty. Showing it's age, bath had yellow stains. Chipped and scuffed interior of room. Mosquito splat marks on the walls.
While staying here there was a convention being held in the conference rooms. The mimibus drivers that bought them here were around the pool laying down on the sunbeds. Which made my wife feel uncomfortable as they were staring.
It's important to note Bangsaen is a "Thai" destination holiday resort. The beach front is full of umbrellered fish and poultry sellers hundreds of them. Bangsarn is not catered much for foreign nationals.

ลิฟต์เก่า สีดำทมึน ไม่เข้ากับบรรยากาศชายทะเล แขกพักที่ขึ้นจากสระนำ้ ควรได้รับการแนะนำให้ทำตัวให้แห้งก่อนใช้ลิฟต์ และควรจัดที่ฉีดนำ้ล้างทรายออกจากรองเท้าไว้ตามจุดก่อนเข้าเขตโรงแรม ควรมีอ่างนำ้ในห้องพักให้แขกเลือก บ้างห้องไม่มีก็ได้แล้วแต่แขกเลือก ห้องกว้างอยู่แล้ว ไม่ควรเป็นสไตล์มินิมอลหมด ควรผสมผสาน รักษาสไตล์เดิมของเดอะไทด์ไว้เป็นเสน่ห์อยู่แล้ว

The staff were amazing and very attentive, especially Teddy . Making phone calls for us ( to a tour operator etc ) and organising reasonably priced taxis. They even gave us a gift on Christmas day. For the price it was good value.
It is a bit faded and past it's best but there was nothing I would really complain about. it was a very quiet time of year, so the restaurant seemed to be closed a lot of the time.

I had a VERY Friendly and Helpful lady at Reception. Her name is Teddy . She went out of her way to help me with my stay at the tide Recort . Even arranged a Motorcycle hire for me . She understands and speaks Very Good English as well .Thankyou , Ms Teddy .

พนักงานบริการดีมาก ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส่ และมีความใส่ใจลูกค้ามาก ห้องพักสะอาด วิวดี อยู่ใกล้ชายหาด ไปไหนมาไหนสะดวกมาก
อยากได้ปลัํกไฟเพิ่มนิดนึงตรงหัวเตียงก็ยังดี ห้องที่พักมีปลัํกไฟแค่สองตัวคือใต้โต๊ะที่ไว้เขียนหนังสือ ไม่นับในห้องน้ำ

Fusion Cuisine in the resort closed for dinner time. They don't do $600/ person for buffet anymore.

The location is perfect, beach front, with a cozy café at the front.
I encountered a monkey at the corridor and it’s a bit shocking to me.

nice hotel with a great location. this hotel close to the beach and easy to travel around Bangsan. room is good and staff are lovely.

Noisy (the wall had no sound proof). The beach was so noisy at night too.
There is not enough electrical outlet to charge the phones. Once we turned off the lights, there were only 2 outlets working which are next to the TV and in the bathroom.
The price is too high. For almost THB 3,000 per night, there was no breakfast!

great location with access to everything close by
we booked because of the location but also for the facilities of the hotel. online we discovered a bar by the pool, a nice restaurant and what seemed to be a relaxed and enjoyable weekend away. pity everything was closed????? oh and yes it was a Saturday night and so the bang Sean strip was active till 5am, it’s a shame the hotel wasn’t after 4:30pm when we arrived.

very hold room & toilet is not so clean. Refrigerator wasn’t workable and nobody come to fix even call to ask.

lovely building, lobby, grounds outside. just walk across street to the sea, easy swimming. million food stands. convenient 7 eleven. huge lovely swimming pool, really swim, not just splash around. big comfy pool area. big room, great porch. luxurious, above my usual budget, but worth it!
well, no breakfast included, 400 bhat too much IMHO. ALSO, crazy confusing electric outlets
