The staff was great! Beautiful spot and excellent facilities. My favourite thing was sundowners on the lounge chairs in the middle of the veld. Best sunset ever.

Ein echtes Kleinod! Wie man mitten im Nirgendwo so eine wunderschöne Anlage schaffen kann, grenzt an ein Wunder.
Das Haupthaus erinnert an Herrenhäuser in den Südstaaten der USA, das Manor Haus, in dem wir untergebracht waren, ist in holländischer Kap Architektur errichtet.
Alles ist tiptop gepflegt, das Personal, vor allem Faaizah und Jaques, ist umwerfend freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch das Essen ist prima!
Erstaunlicherweise war sogar das Internet sehr stabil und flott.
Das Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet, tolles Bett, reichlich Steckdosen, auch für europäische Stecker.
Das i-Tüpfelchen ist aber die fantastische Natur der Karoo ringsum! Bei einem Sunset Drive haben wir sie ausgiebig genießen können.
Und nicht zu vergessen - hier bekommt man auch eine wirklich tolle Massage!
Dass wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind...

Not a dislike, more of a comment. Eggs Benedict could have a slightly lighter sauce, although the flavour was really good and I did enjoy my breakfast.

The decor, set up and location are incredible. One gets to experience the true beauty and serenity of the Karoo!
I thought some facilities could've been better kept and clean - there were lots of leaves but to be fair the wind blows a lot too!

A great place to stay with exceptional service from all staff, really exceptionally friendly & professional staff.
Food was excellent. Room was very clean and neat.
Aircon blowing directly on the bed, bed lamp needs to be switched off by pulling plug out. No towel rails in bathroom. Basin plugs not operational.

The location is a Karoo gem. It's difficult to describe what a wonderful time we had. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. It was truly the perfect getaway destination.

This was a real hidden gem - off the beaten track - beautiful accommodation, wonderful friendly staff, nice food - wished we could have stayed longer!

There was no backup generator when there was load shedding so couldn't take a hot shower or use internet - no lights

Enjoyed the Game Drive, the attention to detail in the Rooms, the friendliness of the staff and calling beforehand to request dietary requirements.

The furnishing of the rooms demonstrates great creativity in the use of natural materials. Likewise, the outdoor area is imaginatively designed. The seating is distributed everywhere in the outdoor area, differently designed, so that you always get new impressions. There were two different vegetarian dishes to choose from and the service was friendly and courteous.
The leg and foot massage was ok, we can't recommend the neck and back massage. I forgot my pearl earrings on the table when I left, unfortunately they were not found.
