Lovely place in the middle of Casco Viejo. Very friendly staff. No pool, but other than that you can't go wrong with this place.

The room we had was beautiful. We were in a separate building a few blocks from main building, overlooking a busy square with restaurant diners and music. The hotel management advised us about this fact ahead of time and allowed us to cancel at no cost if we didn’t care for the hustle and bustle but we opted to stay. The location was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Property was very clean and very spacious. Very charming. Michael and Andres, and all the staff were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The hotel looked like the pictures used in advertising the hotel.

No elevators! Our suite was initially on the third level, up very high stairs. My friend is 80 with bad knees, so it was a problem for him. however, on the second day, the staff graciously moved us to the lower level.

Our stay at La Isabela Suites was fantastic. Even before we arrived, Andres was very helpful and responded to all our questions quickly and in depth. We arrived on an early flight so we were able to leave our bags at the main hotel while we went for breakfast and explored the city. Our room was located in a nearby square and Andres drove us there with our bags. The suite was more we had expected and very comfortable, with a great balcony overlooking the square. Andres had warned us it might be noisy and I'm a light sleeper so had been prepared for disturbed sleep, but the doors and windows kept out most of the noise and I was surprised that it didn't bother me at all and I slept well. Andres had arranged for a bird guide to take us out and we would also highly recommend our guide, Domi, who was extremely knowledgeable and we had 2 great days with him. We would definitely return to La Isabela Suites.
