Ex-monastery, it's big and in a quiet area, close to a park and to a great view. The center of the small town is very close. Bed was comfortable. Big bathroom with bidet. The common room is a bit old style but comfortable. The included breakfast is a 2€ credit in a bar where you can choose among many things. Free purified water in the common room. It's my second time there, last time in my bedroom there was only another guy, this time nobody. The checkin was extremely fast because they already had my data and I didn't have to do anything apart from getting the keys.

I would add some power sockets in the common area, and maybe a table close to them, so that it's easier to use the laptop. It's a small village, so no much fun around, and you need a vehicle to get there. No lockers.

Staying at the ecOstello was an amazing experience. The hostel is near a park full of pine trees, in a pretty building surrounding a church. Children playing, crickets in the park and the bell ringing time composed the soundtrack of my stay. The staff is friendly and welcoming, they have been really helpful in many situations. The village is lovely, authentic and welcoming. The cafés are a great place to spend time and get to know the local people. You can find there pretty much everything you need. If you are looking to get immersed in a calm Italian village, this is the place to go!

I managed to get to the hostel from the train station by foot but it's not ideal, especially in the winding part of the road to get up to the village. I'd suggest trying to coordinate with the bus passing in the morning.

Although hard to get there by bicycle, the location is special, as are the staff. The position relative to town is very convenient. I loved the water cooler idea.

Backpackers who start partying at midnight 😱 .. what are you, vampires? A croissant and coffee does not qualify as "breakfast included" - perhaps "breakfast voucher" or "mini breakfast". Wifi not so great.

the double room was quiet, with good wifi strength. the bed is comfy, on the common area there is a (free) cold water dispenser, which is very nice in summer evenings, when supermarkets are closed. breakfast is a coupon for a standard cappuccino&croissant in whichever bar of the village

cooling (rather, the missing of)! the fan in the description is a small table one placed on the floor. it is a cheap one, so it is noisy. you can choose between not to sleep because of the noise or of the warmth. even with the windows opened, there was not enough air circulation to cool down the room (early july, it was 39 degrees max). this is because the room faces W, so it takes all the possible sun along the day. this makes the room great in winter, poor in summer also, the decription says "30 sqm", i measured less than 20, including the bathroom. still a useable size, but far from what advertised

Checking until 23h. Ok for a night stop only if the price is around 20 or 30 euros.

The rate was 38 € and the room pictures we're looking ok, which is quite hard to found in this area.... After inserting the credit card information and clicking confirm, it suddenly became 54 Euros !!!!.... Lot of message with Booking during the trip to solve and understand why, but no solution found. Arriving around 21h30 in this small village, we finally found the reception, no car park available around (all busy). The receptionist give us the 2 voucher for the breakfast, which means its not a B&B (value 2 €/pers), all the place was desert. Stairs to climb, 80 meters of corridors to bypass the old church. Outdated room and bathroom (see pictures), 12 Celsius outside and no heater. Still waiting some explanation from Booking !!! For us, the real price must be between 20 and 30 € max!!! Cherry on the cake, 2 hours later, the price was still 32 €.....

The owner were kind and have try to help. Place is beautifull.

The views of the sunset are amazing! My room was large and so was the bathroom. Everything is very clean. It's a quiet location.

Breakfast with Voucher at local bars (1 cafe/capuccino, 1 corneto value 3€) double Rooms are huge and - compared to most italian hotels QUIET 2 or 3 Local restaurants in old town might be also okay, we opted for Giancarla down in the valley is a real italian gem run by 3 ladies with pure passion!

Wifi didn't work, heating not yes on late October, 1st November ("comunal decision")
