Die Holzhütten sind mit einem Waschbecken (kalt Wasser) und einer Toilette ausgestattet. Vor den Hütten stehen jeweils 2 Stühle und ein Tisch. Die Duschen sind in einem separaten Gebaude. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsküche mit Geschirr, Herd und großen Kühlschränken, allerdings keinen Backofen (wir wollten uns eigentlich Pizza backen). Leider habe ich den Namen der "Camping Chefs" (Benjamin?) vergessen. Er hat uns angeboten, dass wir in dem nahegelegenen Ort Pizza bestellen können und er würde diese für uns abholen. Hat super geklappt! Vielen Dank nochmals. Die Betten sind gut. Schön wäre es, wenn man ein Fenster öffnen könnte. War bei uns kein Problem, da es in der Nacht schon sehr frisch war. Die Lage ist alleine deswegen schon super, da es nur ca 20km bis zum Col du Tourmalet sind.

We really liked this place. It was clean, neat and the host Benjamin was splendid! He gave us tips, helped us out with a car tires and was really welcoming. Would highly reccomend this!

Very nifty tiny houses which offer a unmatchable atmosphere with their smell of wood and rounded shape. Even in October it wasn't cold and felt cosy. The house has well thought through details and good storage space. Will be my base for the central Pyrenees next time around.

That I booked only one night and had paid already for accommodation further in the west the following night so I wasn't able to extend my stay in the hut.

We stayed in a modern wooden chalet on this small, quiet and friendly campsite in Saligos, a few minutes from the shops, bars and restaurants of Luz Saint-Sauveur. The chalet comprises a lovely big bed, a basin and a separate WC - just the basics, in other words, but absolutely fine for a short stay (we stayed 2 nights - 3 would have been ideal). The outdoor table and chairs are very welcome for drinks, meals and a nice view towards the mountatins. There are nice loos and showers, a communal (and very well-appointed) kitchen, a laundry, a wash-up room and reception very close by ... but no bar or shop, so be sure to stock up in Luz before settling in for the night!

This is a very nice relaxed campsite in a really useful place if you want to visit the high Pyrenees from the French side. ItIt gives good value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful.
