Everything. Very friendly and helpful owner. Good meals and breakfast. Rooms are fine with everything that you need. Not far to the cave Temple and Golden Buddha.

The room is so big and the toilet is amazing, everything is super clean, you can go walking to dambulla caves and have some ruins in the way (8min) and the owner is really nice.

We have only good memories from our stay at Roy's place.
The room is modern, clean and had very good big bed. Big bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, cattle, fan, so in the room was very comfortable.
The breakfast is serving at a terrace and it was very delicious - Srilankian, but not very spicy (as we asked) and I strongly recommend home made dinner from this family - I'm already miss it :)
Right in front of home there is a fantastic rock, where you can observe the city and see sunset.
Roy were also very nice and helping, and took us to the bus station.
It's not a problem of our host and not a big deal, but local dogs from neighbors weren't so good at first

The host, Roe, was super nice and he alone would have made our stay to an awsome experience.
He helped with every question we had, was super friendly and gave us some great Infos for our travel through Sri Lanka. I can absolutely recommend his home stay to have a great time.

The room in this accommodation was one of the cleanest rooms in our trip through Sri lanka. The location of the accommodation is great - only 10-15 minutes walk to cave temple. We recommend to eat dinner at this place, since it was delicious. The owner also drove us free of charge to the bus station.

Increadible owner!! I travel a lot and Roy is one of the most caring and guest-oriented person! He helped us with pick Up, drop off, waited for us with dinner!! Absolutely amazing person!! We had a lovely 3 nights staying here whilst in Dambulla. Roy (the owner) is incredibly helpful and also a delicious cook! Couldn’t recommend more!

It’s a super nice place next to the Dambulla rock where the caves are also located. From our guesthouse we could directly climb it and have a nice view.
The Family is very kind and the Food is excellent. Our host also took us to the bus station and helped us with the planning of our trip. He is very attentive and a host you can count on. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. In addition it’s also a nice opportunity to have an authentic experience of the simple life around here.
Only minor thing was that the WiFi was not that strong but that applies only to one room and you can simply move a bit to the left on the terrace and then it’s all fine. Anyway if you are here to see the country this should not be an obstacle for you.

The room and bathroom are clean. A/C and hot water facilities are available(work perfectly fine). As requested, they prepared string hoppers and bread toast with a curry and pol sambol for our breakfast. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Roy was an incredible host and made us feel very welcome. He went out of his way to help us sort out travel and pointed us in the direction of some good food! The homestay is clean and has a lovely balcony, where we were treated to a delicious home made breakfast! The location is away from the noisy main street and within easy walking distance of the cave temples and town. I would really recommend this as a base from which to explore the area!

The host was friendly and helpful. Very clean, spacious room. Although it is away from the town's facilities, the location works well - it's a reasonably short walk to the entrance for the cave temples, and a convenient tuk-tuk ride back from the exit gate area. Meals were good: a hearty breakfast and an excellent, tasty dinner. Nice to climb the rock opposite the homestay in the late-afternoon for the views and sunset.

This was a perfect choice in busy Dambulla. We were looking for a quiet place in this busy and hectic city and this homestay was a bullseye. It is away from the centre but very close to the cave temple (a few minutes of pleasant walk). The owner is super nice and very helpful. Great food after we tried the dinner our first night we had decided to eat in the homestay for the rest of our stay. He also helped to organise our trips and drove us to the bus stop at the end.

We were very pleasantly surprised by Miracle Home Stay, where we stayed two nights in February 2020. The room was brand-new and very spacious. It was immaculately clean, and the bathroom was enormous and spotless too. We ate out the first evening, and then at the homestay the second. That was silly mistake - should have eaten in both times - the food was delicious-delicately cooked Sri Lankan chicken curry with rice and vegetables, then vanilla ice-cream that tasted like something out of my childhood-
The approach to the property is a bit complicated the first time (we were driving a tuk-tuk), but the owner was very sweet and when we phoned him and told him we were lost, he came in a flash and guided us to the place.
