House was well laid out, properly equipped and clean. It was great to be able to bring our dog as well. He also enjoyed himself.. We had a beautiful view from our deck every day with lots of deer to entertain us.We hope to go back again in the near future.

The property was perfect for our 4th of July weekend getaway. Christine was amazing with the process and that helped make our stay even better. We could have not asked for more for our family, we will be back for sure.

Christine obviously cares about this place and makes sure everyone is happy. My family and I are happy she keeps a clean place and she went above and beyond to communicate every detail so there were no miscommunications. She was helpful and flexible with our somewhat unique situation. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, mugs, and cookware. The bathrooms had more than enough linens for all of us. The premium TV service was amazing. Honestly, no complaints! If we visit the Poconos again, I'll be sure to see if this place is available before looking at other rentals!

The house was very cozy! Description of house was spot on. Comfortable beds, cleanliness was impeccable, and kitchen was well stocked (much more so than we have seen with previous rentals).

Overall a great week! From the moment we stepped into the house, we felt at home. It was very comfortable (and spotless!). The back deck with the gate was great for our dog - she could hang out back there and we didn't have to worry about her. For those bringing dogs, there is a great dog part about 20 minutes away - West End dog park - if your dog needs to run and get some energy out. The house is very close to HIckory Run State Park, which is beautiful. The host, Christine, is wonderful!

Great place in the poconos. Highly recommended for a getaway. There were many places with drywall damage that was filled, but still noticeable. Outside of the home was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The hammock in the photo isn’t there. Jets in tub were broken. All cosmetic things that can be easily address. It was an otherwise fantastic experience. Christine, the host, was very communicative!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the home. The home was very comfortable. Deer would come right up to the deck every morning and evening. One morning 2 fawns were sleeping in the back yard. We would like to stay there next year again, as there is so much to do in the area. Christine was very accommodating and concerned that we had a good time.

The home was clean and as described. The owner was attentive and communicative before we even arrived.. There was great hiking nearby and hanging out on the lake beach was a calm way to spend the days (although I highly recommend driving over, it’s more than a little walk).

I would highly recommend this property for a week or weekend in this part of the Poconos. House and location are both really nice and there’s a lot of amenities in the Towamensing Trails development. Owner is a pleasure to deal with and would definitely here again.

The property is close to all that the Poconos has to offer. The home was a nice comfy place to escape everyday life. Easy access to PA Turnpike and other transportation routes.

Christine was terrific and extremely helpful We needed a get away for two weeks in the middle of March as our home was being renovated Difficult time of year weather wise. We had a huge snow storm early in the stay and ended up with 70 degree spring weather

Christine was truly the best host! She was extremely attentive and genuinely a caring person. The house was very clean and well appointed. Our family had a cozy and memorable weekend complete with our dog Bentley! We even saw 12 deer pass by through the backyard each morning . Hoping to return again in the future.

Christine was an absolutely wonderful host from beginning to end, always making sure we were happy and our needs were met. We had a wonderful time and my husband and son got to ski every weekend whenever they wanted as it was a short distance to JF or BB. it was so nice to be able to have a place like this to go to all winter - thanks for making us feel so welcome, it was a great time and we miss going already!

First let me say that Christine was AMAZING to work with. I probably bothered her with my gazillion questions and she was always super quick to respond! We thoroughly enjoyed our, getaway. We are looking forward to booking again for a longer period of time. Christine's home has EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED! The lake is a very short walk away and the dogs enjoyed the water. All you need to bring is yourselves, your clothes and a toothbrush. Everything else is there waiting for you to enjoy. Jim Thorpe is super close as well. We enjoyed the day exploring all the shops and eating at the Irish Pub. We highly recommend Christine's home and can't wait to rent again! ENJOY!

Perfect weekend all around, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Christine the home owner had great communication with us to make sure all of our questions were answered and that we had everything we needed. Her home was very cozy everything we needed and more was there. Our dogs are always a big concern when we travel making sure they are comfortable and are safe and they definitely were. We would definitely rebook and location was very convenient to many things!!! Thank you again Christine you went above and beyond in making our stay one we won’t forget.

The property owner was amazing! She was so helpful and responsive to my several inquiries. The house was well kept and had good kitchen supplies. I’ve never stayed in a place before that had reasonable frying pans and basic supplies like paper towels, dish washing liquid, tinfoil etc. There were several board games, movies and books. And people in the neighborhood were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it!

We had a magical week here with our 11 month old and our 3 year old, who was particularly taken with the friendly deer who visited the house daily. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and living space was very comfortable. The neighborhood amenities (beach, pool, playground) were family friendly and we were within a half hour to lots of hiking, biking, and family fun (Jim Thorpe train ride, Country Junction petting zoo, etc.). Christine was such a responsive host and we hope to come back in different seasons!

My husband and I had a beautiful vacation. The home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and everything you need then home has. I could go on and on. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful area and be one with nature and step into a home that reminds you of home sweet home....Well look no more you found it! Rent it you will not be disappointed. I would like to end with the owner is such a wonderful person from the beginning to the end of our entire communication process and when after I felt we known each other forever!
