A beautiful cosy cottage with everything we needed, in an ideal location close to shops.

The owner is a very nice, welcoming and warm person.

Big kitchen, great beds, good shower and nice outside space. We also liked the log fire and the central heating!
Only very minor things - log fire was full of ash, and there was no dustpan and brush for a quick tidy up. Also the fire alarm was extremely sensitive and went off every time we made toast.

It had an outdoor space with chairs. A nice dinning table and reasonable kitchen equipment. It was close to ballater where there were restaurants and shops. It was close to Balmoral castle.
The parking is on the road a short walk from the cottage and sometimes it was difficult to get a space. The cottage is eco- friendly and although it has a washing machine it does not have a tumble dryer, there is however a clothes rack for drying clothes.

Cleanliness very poor indeed, not Covid Safe and I dread to think what is microbes are growing inside the cupboards where crockery is stored. Needs a deep clean. Property is not worth the money, paintwork needs re doing inside and out. Not as described!

the cottage was in a perfect location, had everything we needed and was very clean. The hot tub was a real bonus!

The cottage was charming, beautifully clean and in a great location. Things were clearly marked. We used the bed settee, which was easy to put together and surprisingly comfortable. We enjoyed the Trivial Pursuit, published before the year 2000, so really out of date! 😂🤣
My daughter really enjoyed using the coffee machine too!
It goes without saying that the area is absolutely stunning. I was brought up in Banchory, so it is home to me. The drive from Ballater to Banchory and then across to Stonehaven is breathtaking!
The downstairs loo door would not lock, which was slightly disconcerting! We ran out of loo roll and had to buy more, which I wouldn’t have expected. Those were minor inconveniences though, generally it was great!

Pretty cottage in superb location with lovely sunny outside space. Excellent communication with owner. Very comfy beds and pretty decor.
Towels could have been a bit fluffier and fresher. A few light bulbs in kitchen needed replaced. Minor issues, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was a clean, cosy and comfortable space. The Hot tub was great to come home to after a long day hiking the Cairngorm Mountains.

Really cosy cottage and really handy to the town centre. Fully enclosed garden so really good for pets and small children. No parking outside the property but this isn’t an issue as lots of on street parking less than a minute walk away. Hot tub outside was amazing and very easy to light. Great communication from the hosts especially Keira who was extremely helpful. Thankyou for a great stay- we will be back.

Location excellent! Amenities on door step, free parking. Kitchen a great size, good size fridge, nice bright eating area, well heated.
The pillows and the bed wasn’t the best. Pillow very hard also sofa not so comfy. The extractor hood above the hob is a bit dangerous too, father smacked his head on it. Also loo seat needs to be fixed downstairs. Other than that really enjoyed stay

The property was absolutely brilliant, and so well equipped. It was like a home from home! The hosts were also amazing, they were so helpful and accommodating

The toilet seats in the downstair toilet was completely loose and dangerous to sit on. The seat in the upstairs bathroom was also loose but not dangerous.

Had an amazing couple of nights, just a shame we couldn't stay longer but would definitely recommend & would stay again. Communications from point of booking & right up to our stay were superb. Fantastic location right in the centre of beautiful Ballater. Quiet. Clean & comfy with plenty of room for 4 adults. Nice private outside space & we enjoyed the hot tub too!

A well equipped cosy cottage! great quality facilities and brilliant for a weekend trip. little touches were lovely. hot tub is great with the fairy lights outside and the kitchen has a lot more than expected!
