This hotel is in the perfect location as there is a bus stop just down the street and the beach is only a 5 minute walk away. The staff are very welcoming and friendly accommodating anything you require

It is very centrally located to the made streets of Positano. Just be sure to get off the Sita Sud bus at the Positano Sponda bus stop. From there it is a short 10min downhill walk to the hotel with luggage. Staff are really friendly and greet you when you pass by the reception desk. They are very helpful. They bring you breakfast to your room at the time you request and you choose what you want on a form the day prior. Stunning views from the balcony in the ocean view rooms. Enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogurt and the option to choose what we wanted on the list. Room serviced daily.

The hotel (like the rest of Positano) is VERY expensive. In hindsight, we would have chosen to stay in Sorrento and do a day trip to Positano. For the price, we would have liked freshly scrambled eggs and bacon, for example. The style of breakfast served isn’t what we are used to. When we ordered the eggs but they were cold hard boiled eggs. Also, the potato rosti were served cold. The packet cornflakes were like stale cardboard. The pastries weren’t very fresh. The quality of breakfast didn’t align to the cost of the room price in our opinion.

The service. Imma and the other staff were very helpful and easy to deal with. will suggest to my friends to stay here.

Lift was not large enough to fit all the suitcases. There was also no bougainvillea on the property!

Location was brilliant. right in the middle of Positano so easy to walk up through the town or down to the beach.

Our standard room was the smallest we had on our journey. No view. Positano is expensive though so this perhaps not surprising. for similar rates, we did have larger rooms elsewhere though (Amalfi, Rome, London).

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the location because it was walking distance from the shore. The breakfast was good and staff were wonderful.

Cannot think of anything that we didn’t like.

I love the locating and the shopping g and beach were so close. if I did t want a large dinner I would go to three sisters wine bar for a sales / bruschetta and my choice of wine

Staff were very welcoming and the location of the hotel was great.

Wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful. They booked a parking space for us for two days (parking Russo), which was directly opposite the hotel. This made it very easy for us to check in and locate the parking, as parking is a bit of a nightmare in Positano. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff also arranged a bottle of fizz to be ready for us on check im as it was our wedding anniversary. The location is excellent. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

It was a very clean hotel. Although room was slightly small, it was comfortable, clean and convenient. The location was great (5-10 minute walk down to the beach and dock, on the main street with great restaurants). The staff was great and very welcoming. The breakfast options were great as well. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and it was one of the best choices we made on our trip to Italy. We actually never met such a good and friendly staff like Giovanni, Judi and their colleagues. Giovanni helped us from the very beginning planing every day of our stay in order for us to have and enjoy the best things in Amalfi Coast! We had breakfast in our balcony in the room free of charge. The breakfast is so so good!! We loved it. We felt really welcomed to Positano and well cared from the staff at Bougainville hotel. Everything we asked for or needed they always helped the best way they could! It was an amazing stay! When we come back to Positano we will stay at this hotel again! I researched vacation spots on the Amalfi Coast and Positano looked to be the best location to stay for being central for visits to Capri or Amalfi Beach or just enjoying the Positano Beach. The Bougainville Hotel had a combination of the best reviews together with the best pricing and features. We got the room with the Balcony with an incredible view of Positano and it included breakfast delivered to the room everyday where we got to eat on the Balcony overlooking the view. The hotel included an elevator mostly used for your luggage which was a huge plus. Hotel was one of the best centrally located for shopping, taxi's, buses, restaurants and a walk down hill to the beach or taking boat tours. Giovanni and his staff are incredibly attentive to your comfort and making sure you get the most out of your stay. Using Booking messaging and Whatsapp, Giovanni scheduled my boat tour to Capri and the Gotto's and another of the Amalfi coast even before I got there. My itinerary was waiting for me when I checked in. Amazing. The Hotel location, cleanliness (room is cleaned everyday), Giovanni and the staff, made for a great vacation and I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to Positano.
