incredible location in the „nowhere“, amazing nature and freedom to explore and enjoy yourself and life. great pool and good breakfast

Ideal, rather remote, quiet (helped by not being fully booked) location with a great view over (and walks down to) the estuary. Breakfast, delivered in a basket, was excellent and was almost generous enough to provide for lunch as well. The kitchenette was well equipped and gave the option of self-catering.

On one evening a dog was left by it's owner in the adjoining apartment and constantly yapped away but thankfully they returned by 11pm so didn't disturbed sleep at night!

It was great receiving the picknick basket full of breakfast and enjoying that near the pool overlooking the hill and river. Crew is lovely. Would recommend for sure!

Long gravel road to reach resort.

A couple of hiccups on arrival. Kept waiting a long time for somebody to arrive but apparently there was a problem at their sister hotel which held them up. There were workmen building an outdoor bbq on site, using an angle grinder so we wpent our time waiting with our fingers in our ears. When the person arrived with the keys we explained that if the work was to continue it would not be possible for us to stay there. They offered us a room at their sister hotel but that is more of a family hotel, not a relaxing retreat as this was meant to be. I must say though that she totally underestood and once their manager had contacted the OWNER they agreed to halt the work during our stay. By this time however we had lost a good 4 hours of our short time up there which was a shame. Anyway we did have the whole place to ourselves and it was so quiet and peaceful and lovely to relax listening to the sounds of nature around us. Breakfast was lovely and beautifully presented in their cork picnic hamper. Plenty for lunch too. Definitely need a car to go out to eat though. All in all a beautiful place but you must go with the intention of doing nothing for the duration of your stay, which we enjoyed.

Each morning we received a lovely breakfast basket with bread, cheese, meats, fruit and yogurt. We enjoyed it on the patio basking in the silence. Cute little cottage, very comfortable.

Location nice but nothing to do there you need your car. Clean room nice view over the mountains. Very still nice to relax a day. Nice pool but becatefull not deep.

We book with 4 adults but breakfast was only for two.
