Good restaurant and friendly staff.

What defines a hotel? No reception, lounge or hotel entrance. I would like to call this a restaurant with rooms. Stayed in a corner room facing the street and the traffic disturbed somewhat but also noise from other guest room. Limited parking above ground, they have a parking garage as well, but didn't park there.

Incredibly friendly staff. Everyone was so helpful. Comfortable beds.

It’s a traditional hotel that was renovated a couple of years ago with a lot of taste (and surely money). Old wooden beams are visible and match well with the white plastering. It features a nice restaurant and the breakfast was ok, there could be more options for vegetarians and vegan as not everyone in the world likes to eat meat anymore (the offered a fully meat based platter for breakfast). Our room was quiet (behind the house) but very small, we had to climb over our luggage. The area behind the hotel is worth exploring on foot, it’s wonderful and it’s a pity it’s no longer visible due to some newly build apartment block (and more being build right now). The hotel features and underground parking which is good but difficult to enter as it’s very narrow entry. Outside parking is available but was full when we arrived from guests who came for lunch only. No elevator so you have to carry up your luggage to the room.

Beautifully renovated inn with great restaurant, helpful friendly staff. Very short walk to bus or train into Zurich and on the edge of a fantastic wooded mountain for walking, cycling running etc.

Very cute traditional Swiss building, conveniently located, great restaurant space. Nespresso coffee and great toiletries in the room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is ok

The room is located on the front of the hotel, so the choices are: noise from the street, noise from the airco, or just to warm. At least there is an airco installed, so the choice is yours.

We loved the location, the friendly and very helpful staff and the lovely Swiss style of the hotel. Very charming and relaxed.

The pillows were too soft.
