Great location. Good value. Only issue was that the base of the toilets & floors around toilets not cleaned. I cleaned them . Bathrooms need to be updated. Could only use one shower as the upstairs one looked really bad.

We had 3 adults, there 3 bedrooms (single beds), so it was perfect. Just a few minutes from town and 10-15 minutes from Watch Hill and the State Beach.

We were very pleased with the amount of space, 3 double bedrooms and 2 lounges, as we were a family group with our adult children and a grandchild. Well equipped with washer dryer, and host was easy to contact. In an a quiet location close to amenities, and close to a lovely historic area. We did feel like we were staying in someone’s home, as closets were filled with personal belongings and family photos were dotted around, and it could do with some updating/refreshing (eg our bed sheets felt very worn). But considering the price it’s good value and perfect for people who like staying in grandma’s home.

We really enjoyed our stay in Dan’s house. The location was wonderful and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Google maps takes you to the wrong address and the house was hard to find at night. The house was clean and had plenty of space, but the furniture (with the exception of the beds) was very worn and could use updating. The beds were very comfortable.

The house was easily accessible to nearby RI attractions and Mystic in CT. Quiet neighborhood and the house had everything we needed.

Yes, it it dated. But it is a great value for the proximity to the areas attraction (ie. Mystic, New London, casinos, beaches, etc.)

It was perfect for our needs. We had an event at Foxwoods on a Saturday and Sunday. Location met our needs. The place is cute. I'd describe it as "vintage cute." Two of us stayed. We each had our own room and bathroom. I could watch TV in the den and not be sitting in a hotel room with another person on top of me. Good for guest separation. LOL. Will probably rent again when back next year.

It was like stepping back in time at your grandmas house. Paneling and antique furniture. Clean and cozy. Great location to mystic and Foxwoods!

We had a great time! The house was clean and plenty of room. Nice patio and backyard…it was a quiet neighborhood. We loved it!

The house is good value for money—not fancy, but fully functional, clean and comfortable. This is in a residential neighborhood in short driving distance to tourist destinations in Westerly or Stonington. Business district is a 15-minute walk along a busy Route 1, so we didn’t find the restaurants to be within “walking distance” as advertised. A good location for exploring western RI and eastern CT.

This was our 2nd stay for our visit to Ninigret Park & The Rhythm & Roots festival. Great location that allowed us to have some space instead of a hotel. As always, definitely recommend renting with Dan at his place! Clean & comfortable and easy to check in!

My young family and in laws had an absolutely lovely stay. The house is cosy but plenty of room for four adults and two small children. With bathrooms on each floor and air conditioners in each room, comfortable beds, and all the household items you need, we felt very at home. We loved the area - easy distance to beaches and attractions, with nice cafes and restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to come back!

Property had everything needed plus for a great stay. A/C inside and large deck outside with very nice grill for cooking. 15 minutes from beaches, Mystic CT, shops and restaurants. Wished I had made the trip longer....it felt comfortable and very homelike.

This rental is very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals for the family. The location is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, yet close to the beaches, Mystic, and the casinos. Thank you for letting us make family memories here

We stayed again at this rental. We love grandma’s house it’s perfect for our family and so close to everything we love to do.

The house has a cute deck and outside. The inside could use some updates and cleaning.

Will definitely stay again. Location was great, on a dead end so there was no traffic on the road. House was super clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need.

Ring a native of Westerly, location of house is perfect when coming home for a visit. Dan was very responsive. Now that I have lived in the south so long I forgot most homes in that area don’t have A/C . Lol. However being that the evenings this time of year are cool it was very comfortable sleeping with the windows open. No road noise or neighbor noise at all. Back deck is perfect to sit on in the evenings especially with the awning. Overall great little home , great location . Little updating of a few things would drive a higher price for the house for sure so I was on staying in my grandma’s like type house. Very comfy. Thanks Dan, perhaps next trip I can pinpoint a time to go out fishing . Would have really enjoyed that for sure

The property reminded me of my parent's home. I am 84 years old and enjoyed the many artifacts and precious memories of the past. However, there is a bit too much as well as a lot of dust collectors. My adult sons are avid fishermen and related well to the fact that fishing was a sport of someone who lived there. I would like to suggest that an in dept cleaning of every room is needed. The large number of old clothes hanging in the closets did not enhance the use of the property.

The property was centrally located for everything we looked for. An enjoyable visit, a good place to stay.

Home was neat but not clean. Furniture old and uncomfortable. Beds were good. Definitely needs a good makeover.
