We were beyond pleased with our cottage and it’s location! The cottage was adorable and clean and we were greeted by deer and the pleasant sound of the creek. We went to the nearby store for a few groceries for breakfast and one dinner and everything was here that was needed. Wimberley was a sweet town and there were good shops and great food at its restaurants. And at our ages, who knew we could canoe up and down the creek!? Such a great experience. I cannot wait to come back!

Was a perfect place for weekend getaway to unplug from life.

My 2 sisters and I stayed here over a weekend. Loved the setting and the location. The shops (which are fun!) are literally around the corner but with the large creek and trees , you wouldn't even know. Nice and quite and beautiful natural surroundings. I would definitely stay here again. The ONLY downer was how many fees included.

This is my second time to stay at this property. Nice location and felt safe and secure for my cousin and I. Owner needs to call for pest control service. Sugar ants are coming in around the kitchen window and there are several spider webs around porch railing and we killed a tree roach in the living room. Minor issue for us and would stay here again as this was my second time to rent this property.

Thank you so much for offering this great little house. Everything was just as described. It’s a great location close to town and sits right on the creek. We sat on our deck with our coffee each morning and enjoyed the view and the sound of the creek. It was a very relaxing getaway. We will definitely being coming back in the future!

Great relaxing place to stay. Very clean and a short walk back to town

The inside was clean and nice. The location was perfect and so nice to be able to walk downtown. The only drawback was the outside needed cleaning, some mulch and brush needed to be hauled off. There was no way to get down to the creek because of all the brush.

It was clean and the layout perfect for my family of three. You can enjoy the babble of the creek from the porch or sit by the creek and drown out the world. We bought rafts (better to pack cheapies so you dont have to shop) and just hung out in the creek. The creek had plenty of water (Blanco looked dry). And near by hiking at Blue Hole was perfect. We will be back. Don’t underestimate the location and the tranquility of this peaceful locale. We will be back.

Excellent location and nice little cabin. I would have loved having a small washer drier. It was nice having access to the water and canoe/kayaks. Very easy walking distance to town shops. The properties around the cabin could have used with a little cleaning/picking up. There were ladders, garden hoses, and miscellaneous stuff left out the entire visit. But overall, loved it and would recommend.

The location is absolutely beautiful, relaxing and just overall perfect. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to go back.

The Creek Cottage is a gem. My friend and I went for two nights and just hung out on the deck (part of it's covered, and we had some rain, so it was lovely to watch that, and the part closer to the creek was beautiful too when it wasn't raining. Both beds were very comfortable, and the a/c was good. There isn't a microwave oven, which wasn't a problem for us but may be for some folks. We'll definitely go back!

The cabin was dark because many of the light bulbs were burned out. Only one of 4 bulbs worked in the bedroom ceiling fan. We couldn't see in the closet because that bulb was burned out. The lamp in the den was also burned out. There were no dish towels or dish rags in the kitchen, so we had to go buy some. There was no Kleenex, so we had to go buy that as well. No extra blankets, so if one sleeper needs more covers, there aren't any. The giant rolling garbage bin for the cottage was completely full when we arrived. It stunk and attracted flies. Most places we've stayed also have a notebook prepared by the owner giving tips about the area sites and restaurants as well as "tricks" to get the TV to work or other helpful hints about the accommodation. The cottage is really cute and is in a great location. This one is right on the creek and feels so secluded and private. We also enjoyed watching the deer and using the kayaks. The stay would have been perfect with just a few extra touches and attention to details.

I love this cottage! I feel at home immediately! It was very cozy, clean and very cute! The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds were comfy! I haven’t slept that sound in ages! The creek was easy to get to. It’s literally behind the house. I was able to work on the night of our arrival with no disturbances. The other guests nearby were far enough to not cause anyone concern. The square was within walking distance. Also there’s two grocery stores nearby should you need anything! We are already setting up to book again! Do not miss out! Thank you for letting us run away from the city life and enjoy your cottage!

Will definitely be coming back in the near future. Everything was perfect from the 5 minute walk to Wimberley Square to the beautiful and breath taking creek right outside the cottage. Is and will be my #1 place to stay when coming back. Not to mention the countless encounters with the Deers

It was just my sister and me for some bonding time and we had the best time. The cottage was adorable, very homey and the beds were super cozy!! The canoe and kayaks were a bonus and added some very special fun!!! If you’re going to watch TV make sure it’s on HDMI1 ( top right button) on the tv remote 😉

This was a beautiful little cabin right on Cypress Creek with a wonderful back porch and all very nice, very modern amenities on the inside. It was paradise! Felt very private and very safe and we will definitely stay here again! Our little getaway was just what we needed...

This was just what we needed for a quiet weekend. The house is in a cluster of cabins but this one is pretty secluded, especially the back patio. A short walk to the creek where there are several chairs. The house is super quaint, clean and walking distance to the square.

Great little cabin right on Cypress Creek. Although it is in a grouping of cabins this one is very private. Amazing area on the creek with waterfall. Loved it!

This is an amazing property the views from the cottage are so pretty and the proximity to the square is perfect. Will be renting this property again.

What a wonderful stay. The property is close enough to walk to Wimberley and enjoy the little town atmosphere and what turned out to be very good restaurants, but also isolated enough that we enjoyed the quiet, the babbling creek that is just feet from the wrap around porch, and the deer roaming the property in the early evening. The cottage itself was very clean and had a renovated but homey feel. My wife and I enjoyed our weekend immensely.

The location was prime to walk to town...sitting above the creek it was a quiet getaway. We had not planned to cook so were not disappointed by the very scarce kitchen. It fit all our needs of a quick quiet getaway!

Great little house for a couple or girls getaway...close to the square and grocery stores. Easy access to creek to sit and enjoy reading or just relaxing. Kitchen is small but adequate. Minimal cooking supplies but don’t cook, just relax. Beds are very comfortable. The deer are the best part, they are like family here and just hang around. There was several fawns running around that were so cute to watch. We also saw a family of raccoons climbing a tree right outside the side porch and watched Momma nurse them. It was wonderful.

Loved the place - clean, comfortable, right on creek! Was only curious about the combound where the cabin was located - what was available for our use and what was not - but I also didn't contact owner to ask.

I stayed a week and absolutely enjoyed the cottage by the creek. During my stay, I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the deer that visited every morning. I am considering returning in the Fall/Winter. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed staying at the quiet, peaceful, relaxing cabin on the creek. We liked the secured access gate, private creek access, and it was very close to town. We loved watching the deer, hearing the birds sing, and seeing the fish in the clear cool spring water. A wonderful stay. The chairs on the banks were a bonus where we dangled our feet in the water and enjoyed a glass of wine each evening. Thank you letting us stay!!
