This is cheap and cheerful place. The people we met very nice and friendly.. its in the heart of this little village that has got a nice family friendly nightlife. We ddnt expect it to be so lively and busy but the hostel is un a quiter area although only 5 mins from the harbour. There are steep hill to navigate though to and from the centre so keep that in mind if you have mobility issue. Loved the resident ginger cat lucas who was very docile and we used him to get the girls out of bed...
Only fridge and microwave available so not much you cd do yourself. Staff started quite late so hard to get info from reception. By 10am the desk was still unmanned ( maybe they had a diff ti⁶me because it was sat?) so we had to leave our documents details on the desk, however they do answer promptly by e-mail

Was in a nice place.
Didn’t feel clean. There was a cat who came in and i know of two instances when it peed somewhere. Once in the women’s bathroom so it smelled of urine and once in the hallway. I have gotten a lot better for 20sum euros night. I’d pay 10 for this. 20 maybe for a private.

This place also hosts youth events and a there were dozens of kids running around the halls and yelling until 2am.

The guy at the reception was helpful and gave some recommendations (he only speaks Spanish, no English). The breakfast was fine (cereals, toast, yoghurt, apples, cookies).
The hostel is very basic and the common rooms are pretty boring, it's fine for one night though. We only had a few power outlets, but he gave us an extension cable.

It's a good location in Lekeitio! A really short walk to some of the most beautiful views in the Basque Country! It's also not too far from the bus station so it's easy to get there when you arrive! The showers are also great and the bathrooms ere clean.
The check-in experience was pretty rough. You go in through the bar and it doesn't really feel like it's a connected business. They definitely weren't expecting me and it was all a little sporadic. The wifi is fine, a little inconsistent but good enough for streaming. Also the room was fulllll of flies when I arrived, i had to lead them all out of the window..
Also, the free breakfast is just a croissant wit some spreadable cheese. so sad
