Paul en Marion zijn super gastvrij, er ontbreekt werkelijk niets. Ze geven gerichte adviezen bij vragen betreffende de vakantie. De kamer is super schoon, knus en we genieten iedere ochtend van het zwembad en de jacuzzi. Paul en Marion, jullie zijn toppers!!

An incredible place to stay - well beyond our expectations. Paul and Marion are truly lovely hosts and I would definitely recommend Sombre di Kabana to anyone. During our stay in Curacao, we stayed at five different B&B's over the island, and this was by far our favourite. The garden is beautiful and has gorgeous plants and outdoor seats. At night the garden becomes even more charming with soft outdoor lighting. Inside the cabin, there is a lovely reading corner and bed/kitchen/bedroom are well equipped. You can really tell that love that has been put into the homely details. Additional perks are the pool (which is much larger than what is usual in Curacao) and is great to do exercise in or even swim laps. There is also a bubbly bath, games and a joint table that is really great to work on or have a morning coffee. For those working at a distance: **the Wi-fi is REALLY GOOD**. It was the only B&B where I wouldn't have to leave to have important Skype calls. The cabins are have an outdoor patio that is great for working and phone calls. It truly was a home away from home!

Paul and Marion are so nice!!!! No matter wich problem, they tried to help every time and did everything - so we just had a wonderful vacation. The garden and pool is a really nice place to be, where also hummingbirds fly around you.

Above all, it's a beautiful place with a nice pool located at a noisy street, palm trees and cosy apartments. However, it's not a Bed &, Breakfast but most likely a Bed. They charge appr. 20 dollars for breakfast per person. That being said, they probably did their best to make us feel comfortable and we tried to enjoy our time. Still, most of us just couldn't feel welcome and relaxed, which is so sad considering the beauty of this place.

When we arrived, the hosts, who live there and also use the facilities, started explaining the house rules: NEVER USE THE AIR-CONDITIONING WITH WINDOWS OPEN OR BEING AWAY. Shortly after, the female host shouted when one of us was smoking at the terrace: DO NO SMOKE HERE!! The tone was set. One day, one of us forgot to switch off the airco while away for two hours and when returning, we found a note: YOU AGAIN LEFT THE AIRCO ON WHILE YOU WERE OUT! While the hosts were happy to enter our apartment to switch off the airco in two occasions (leaving the room at 33 degrees), it took them 4 days to clean up and refill coffee. To finish the story, our last night, the hosts had a party on their porch, making noise till late night and smoking. So apparently they are allowed to smoke on the porch but the guests not. Such a double standard is a hospitality killer.

It is clean, it’s relaxing ,good for family with kids if you like nature than is this the place to be...😊😘
