There was building work three doors away from where we were

I think the only thing could’ve been better with room service. For example, my hairbrush was on the floor when I came in one day, no replacement of tea and coffee so I think the housekeepers could do a better job.

The swimming pool is nice

The hotel has a lot of potential, but then, it is managed without care. The safe was broken in the room, and we had to ask for reparation. The water is contaminated, and me and my wife we both get sick, even if we used the bottled water for tooth brush. The view from our room was to an extremely ugly backyard. There was water falling from the roof to the aircon machine, making a lot of noise at night. I had to wake up and hang from the window to solve it The island hooping that they offer is limited compared with the options in the city, so we had to go to the city to book. The hotel is really far from everywhere, and there is nothing in the surroundings In short, we were very disappointed.

Some of the front desk staff are less courteous. They have the tendency to be arrogant when you ask question to verify your stay.

Check in took too long and there seemed to be some difficulty confirming my booking through Booking.com and then the staff kept on saying it was through agoda. On another issue, I killed a spider in the room in the first night, this was never vacuumed or swept up by the cleaners the entire time I was there, ants had come in and were consuming the dead spider

Staff service is prompt. Very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Coron westown resort for 4 nights.

Room had an amazing view of rhe mountains and sea. Room was cleaned daily. Check in and check iut was quick.

Gym was not airconditioned and was facing west so it was like hell using the treadmill in the afternoon. There were only 4 equipment there and 2 were under maintenance. Ordered room service: sinigang na isda... the soup tasted good but the fish was so tasteless. Calamares also did not tasted terrible. There was a live band on Friday or Saturday night and I initially thought it was a hotel guest with an unpleasant voice hogging the karaoke for hours.

The staff were friendly and the tour we booked through the hotel was a good day out.

The pool area was filthy dirty to the point your feet turned black when you walked around.We only saw them clean a little area around the pool in the week we were there and they brushed the dirty water into the pool making the pool very unhygienic. Plus the pool water was very low and there didn't seem to be any filters working within the pool, your eyes stung with the amount of chlorine being used! Our room wasn't mopped once all week as we had black marks on the floor all week! They only do the basic of making beds, changing towels and leaving a very limited amount of toilet roll! Have to pay daily for wifi in your room that doesn't work properly, it works for ten minutes then goes off again! Cold water when showering and the shower door doesn't shut! The food was inedible, we actually caught the chief picking his nose while cooking guests breakfast. Disgusting! Considering it's meant to be a 4 star hotel it's very run down and there seems to be a lack of management. We definitely would not stay there again!
