I had the most wonderful view from my room and balcony. The room had everything I wanted, safe, kettle, fridge and efficient air con. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well as it was perfectly quiet. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The terraced garden was a lovely place to sit in the sun or shade. There were numerous restaurants close by.

Very nice hotel, right in the middle of the old town, but still quiet. Has a seating area outside which was ideal for relaxing at the end of the day.

Set breakfast which was OK but a bit basic.

A wonderful traditional hotel in the heart of old Nafplio. With friendly staff

We took the 2nd floor room with the balcony. The view was gorgeous! This place is in a great location, just one block away from the action. Nice and quiet, comfy room and bed. Be aware that the hotel entrance is up a staircase from the street below.

Loved the Location in Nafplio. Loved my room & the view out from my room. Staff were so obliging & whenever I needed to check on anything they immediately looked it up for me.

The 48 steps up to my room...my fault that I didn't tell them that I'm due for a knee replacement. However I managed but the stairs were a challenge.

the Front desk agent was not friendly at all. he did not show any sense of hospitality towards the guest. he didn’t explain the hotel facilities and he didn’t offer any extra assistance.

Good breakfast, value for money. The view was as expected and the location perfect!

We forgot a valuable pack of sweets in the fridge that was thrown away unfortunately right after we checked out. Of course it was our responsibility but it would be much appreciated if the pack was kept for a while. Overall, no other observations about negatives.

I loved the location, staff is very nice and helpful, comfortable beds, had a little balcony.

The ambiance is amazing. The hotel is located in the old town in the most famous street. My room had a fantastic view of Palamidi fortress and the sea. Its cetntrel yet quiet. It connects you with the history of the town and the nearby area Staff very friendly

The parking is challengeable. Be prepared to walk a bit and also up 34 stairs to get to the reception. The hotel has no elevator but then again none of the small hotels in old town would

If I could give a higher rating, I would. The Byron is located in perfect spot in Old Town-- just high enough up to avoid cars and afford fabulous views, and low enough to easily allow strolling to dinner, bars, central Syntagma square. You can easily venture higher up to explore all the alleyways and courtyards Nafplio has to offer. The highlight for me was Byron's beautiful outdoor patios where a very filling breakfast was served. They have three levels of patios all offering different levels of shade depending on the time of day, tastefully apportioned with flowering pots, and beautiful views. Would stay here again in a moment.

Balcony gave us a fabulous view over Nafplio. Breakfast on the terrace was just right. Good tea making facility/fridge, and WiFi. Bar downstairs.

Although we would have preferred a double bed, we were willing to sacrifice it for the balcony! There was not much to criticise here, and the perfect situation up a quiet narrow street has the drawback of stairs and no lift. It wouldn't be do-able for everyone. Parking is in town, at least 150 metres away so luggage needs to be carried as cars can't get to the hotel frontage. It was worth it though!

Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable, we had two windows with great views. But the room was very small. It was not objectionable though. Just harder to find room to put two open suitcases.

Climbing to the top floor was tough sometimes.

Traditional, comfortable gem of a hotel right in the heart of the old town. Fabulous views from the higher rooms, good Greek breakfast on the terrace, friendly and welcoming hosts. Who could ask for more :)

Impeccably clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with a great view. Very well situated in the old town.

A wall fixing for the shower head would have made showering a little easier

Beautiful views of the bay from our window. Amazing breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunlight. The young man in reception was helpful and kind answering our questions about ferries to Hydra etc.

We parked in the city’s upper car park and there were lots of steps to get to hotel and to our room - we had too much luggage and wished we’d taken a day bag!
