Having a paradise called Ranlakshmi beach few meter from the room was definitely priceless. I have no words to describe the beuty of the beach and the tropical nature. Moreover, as Sri Lanka is known for surfing I loved the chance to surf in the beach close to the hotel, Unakuruwa. It has great waves for beginners. Then, having the opportunity to balance the ocean with the 2 large swimming of the hotel was simply perfect. The owners and the staff were always ready to provide the best service and help us to organise every excursion eg. Yale, Mirissa, Rock Temple etc... The rooms were structured in bungalows and were surrounded by tree palms and beutyfull peacocks. This creates a magical vibes that make us have a beutyfull memory of our vacation

It would be great having a good wifi coverage across all the hotel for the "unlucky ones" ie. the ones who still have work-related meetings to attend The food is good but give the status of the hotel we think that there might be margin of improvements

The economic situation in Sri Lanka is clearly very difficult for everyone. All the staff went out of their way to make sure that we weren't inconvenienced in any way.

Very nice location, great paradise beach....

The resort itself is one beautiful and calm place with stunning views of the ocean. It looks like a huge botanical garden with a lot of animals. The room was spacious and comfortable and we slept like babies. There are two swimming pools and two beaches with direct access from the resort. However, these beaches are not very well suited for swimming, they look like heaven, with no people, many coconut trees, and the tiny local bar serving drinks and food all day long.

This was an amazing experience overall!! The location was amazing with a beach and a beautiful pool! The staff were incredibly friendly and always so helpful during our stay!

This hotel is absolutely fabulous!! We enjoyed the swimming pools and the lovely beach just by the hotel. Our bangalow was spacious and clean, surrounded by lots of palm trees. I really liked all the wild animals passing by: peacocks, parrots, monkeys etc.

Hotel restaurant offers mainly international / western meals so if you want to try a bigger variety of local foods then you need to go out.

Big rooms with simple colours. Nice swimming pools. Quite close to the most beautiful beach of Sri Lanka - Silent Beach.

The hotel is very outdated and need to be renovated. Furniture, plastering, sidewalks - it all looks like would be 40 years old. The hotel is out of Tangalle - you will need to take a tuk-tuk every time going to the city. The price - almost 80$/night is for sure 2 times too much - for this rate you may have 4 stars, modern hotel - Eva Lanka was worth it maybe 30 years ago. Breakfasts with very little variety, totally not as you would expect from this kind of hotel. A/C worked very weak.

This place is truly magical and one of the best hotels we‘ve had in Sri Lanka . The beach is nearby is the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. Hotel has a huge Garden, which is also super beautiful with several coconut palms and different kinds of birds. Rooms are spacious, have AC, warm water and super comfortable beds! The two pools are great and have enough beach beds to chill and enjoy the beautiful view. Breakfast has all you need to start your day, including fresh made omelet, fruits, yoghurt and bread. Their restaurant serves great local and international food, but in case you want to go out for dinner there are a few restaurants around (5-10 min walking) e.g. the delicious restaurant Moonlight right across the street. Staff is really 10/10 and helped with everything. Super friendly and polite team!

Amazing Time and amazing place. Beautiful Beach. Nice swimming pool, wonderful garden. Garden is Very big and green. Everywhere is clean. Breakfeast bery taste and good. There are a lot kf animals in the garden.

Wi-Fi!! Wi-Fi connection was really poorly and horrible, I dont understand, how is it possible in resort to have so bad Wi-Fi. This is the reason, why I added 9/10. On this place we didnt have the mobile data and we calculated, that the resort has been the good connection. :(

Super pools, super nice food and the surroundings are so stunning..

Very nice and peaceful place, a couple of beautiful deserted beaches close by. A perfect destination if you're not a fan of loud parties and crowds. Breakfast is fine, though not very diverse.

The restaurant is quite expensive and there are not much alternatives nearby. Wireless internet is horrible so if you are planning to work like I was it might be a problem.

Everything else. Especially, I was told by the manager that in their 20 year history, they never provided driver’s accommodation. I had to send my driver few kilometres down to get his accommodation.. Heard from the driver that this was Manager’s setup..

I liked the beach and location, it is very beautiful.

The staff is not attentive and not friendly. For three days I didn’t get my room cleaned. When I insisted on room cleaning they just made up the bed but didn’t provide clean towels! Food is double the price of other hotels and is very bad quality. Above all there are no umbrellas, no cabanas, no shower near the beach. All in all the service is very bad. When I checked out I was told the amount I pay in US dollars, but when I saw my bank statement I found out that they charged me more.
