Breakfast was good & all cooked fresh Room was extremely clean.

The bed was not comfortable.

The hotel is simply not 5 star. Bathroom was falling apart. Very tired and in desperate need of investment. Made such a massive deal about putting 2 bottles of water in my room despite saying dont drink tap water. They have a problem with birds in the restauarnt - they were literally eating everything from all the displays - bird poop everywhere. Not hygienic Over charged me for my booking despite amending it within the booking.com terms. They then refused to pay me back. Then only offered a credit against my next stay. 6 weeks later I'm still trying to get my money back. Location really poor. Its a dead end. Hotel Taxi driver also tried to rip me of - you have been warned.

Everything was exceptional! You can easily spend your time just at the hotel, as there are so many different activities offered for free - gym, tennis, aqua fitness, waterskiing, paddle boat, sup board, snorkelling, glass bottom boat, kayaking, bicycle tour, yoga.. you name it they have it. In the evenings there were live performances at the bar area. Staff was friendly and helpful and took extra steps to make the guests feel taken care of (such as free snacks offered by the pool, cold towels for refreshment, always asking how we’re doing, etc). Both breakfast and dinner buffee offered a good variety of foods. Beautiful beach.

Nothing much nearby - if you wish to have lunch or dinner somewhere else, then better to go by taxi or car as otherwise you’ll only find other hotels and their restaurants.

Staff amazing. Room was spectacular, clean and everything was thought of. View amazing, aircon very good and cold and beds big, comfortable and pillows comfortable. Outside seating area also comfortable.

The cost of the drinks in the hotel is a rip off - especially for South Africans - even if I was a millionaire, I think you are ripping people off. Having to wear closed shoes and pants/cargo shorts for dinner in that heat and humidity is crazy. It was also not communicated before we arrived.

We cannot stress enough the magnificent setting of the hotel, boasting stunning vistas and a top-notch beach facility. Our heartfelt thanks go to the remarkable personnel who provided us with an exceptional stay, exuding warmth and cheerfulness at all times. A special mention must be made for Yanesh, the outstanding manager, who consistently went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. Our stay at the hotel was truly fantastic and we wholeheartedly endorse it to anyone in need of a memorable vacation. 5 Star service!

everything was exceptional… this is not 4 stars resort, there is really no difference between it and the other 5 stars resorts in Mauritius, the service was amazing, they really do care about the customers comfort, we did the check in inside our room! what a great service!! they always care about the cleanliness of the room, and the house keeping was always there when we need them. all the staff were amazingly helpful, smiling, and so caring. the prices was really good compared to the other resorts. thank you sands team, you made our stay for the new year 2023 amazing and remarkable.

everything beautiful and perfect but need to improve the food buffet

Beach location the hotel it self beautiful what make it extra special the staff are extremely kind and nice they care specially Soudesh CHAMAREE he went out of his way to help us in anyway or concern. I wish we live closer I’ll be visiting every year.

It is difficult to mention everything. It is such a beautiful and tranquil place perfect for a relaxing stay. The resort has good facilities, clean rooms, nice swimming pool and amazing SPA. We also enjoyed excellent breakfasts and wide selection of food for dinners. The most important thing is super friendly and helpful staff. We couldn't ask for more. Wonderful stay!!!

Shower pressure is very weak

Everything was really good…room with ocean view, restaurants, beach is beautiful, and there is a free daily activities like snorkeling, sup, catamaran etc. that’s was great. all in all, our stay was perfect, we deeply enjoyed and decided to come back later.

personally the bufet feels little too outdated, food however very good. i would make the bufet more cosy, first dinner we had there felt little cheap and not really special (but that may be because the week before we were on the ala carte all week). if you go to restaurant Black pepper, the feeling gets much better and much more special. Drinks very good, sometimes slower delivery of them, but still without any issue.

It was an amazing place: room and amanities were amazing, food was very good as well. The pool and bar areas was great. the spa treatment I got (ayuverdic massage) was exactly what I needed. Little things the hotel offered like snacks or cleaning sunglasses (!) service at the beach was a great touch. the fact that there was complimemtary SUP, kayaks, boat snorkeling options even added to a great offer.

I would rate the experience 8/10 due to a small, for some, fact of discrimination (maybe not international) of single travellers. at the beggining I though Im Just sensitive but when it constantly repeated Itself in various situations unfortunately it confirmed it. as a single person I was never approached with any type of service, while couples and groups were always offered a (better) service, if it was service at a resturant for breakfast or dinner, offering drinks or any service really (except one kind waiter whos name I can’t remember during my last breakfast). even in the spa when I was in the middle of discussing available treatments and setting an appointment with the staff, when a couple just entered through the door the attendant stopped talking to me half sentence and accommodated their request first, while asking me to wait. I got used to that in restaurants (Mauritius is in general the first place I experience it so bluntly actually) but here it was just a poor experience as it wasn’t about turnover, we all secured the same service. Shame, as for not for this, it would have been perfect. Hope the management could look into this in the future.
