4 people having to share a bathroom is not acceptable! This property has MAJOR plumbing issues!

No complaints at all everything was what they said will stay again

The property location was great. It was kind of secluded. If you like luxury, this is not the rental for you. If you just need a place to sleep then it will be a great choice. Cons: There were cobwebs on most of the overhead lights and windows. The down stairs shower just seemed a little dirty and outdated. The hot tub was older and didn’t work really well. The grill took awhile to get lit. The covers and sheets on the bed appeared older. It just seemed for 1600 for three nights, I would have had a more updated home. There are no window coverings on the upstairs loft. So if you are not an early riser then that’s not a room for you. Pros: a family of 6 had plenty of room Plenty of cooking utensils Quiet location Nice covered porches Despite the cons my family still had a great time together.

Love the location and the lake is 5 minutes away. Space enough for everyone, and pet friendly! Two things only: there was a whole pizza in the oven (not ours) and cleaning the hot tub. Overall, our stay was amazing and very relaxing!♥️

This cabin was clean and comfortable. The property was very private and convenient to both Beavers Bend Staye Park and restaurants in Hochatown.

It is spacious! This was a perfect getaway. The cabin is nestled between a hill and a ridge so it is very quiet and private- something hard to find in the area due to how many cabin rentals there are. No traffic noise and very few cars. At night, if you turn all the lights off, there are so many stars visible to the naked eye that it is amazing! The hot tub was wonderful but in the age of showers, the large upstairs jacuzzi tub was the highlight of my stay. I definitely want to come back!

I stayed here with my spouse, child and 3 other adults for two nights. What a great place to "get away from it all!" The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas and really was breathtaking when we pulled down the private drive. We will be back!

Overall, we had a great stay. We had 6 adults and 2 kids. Only thing missing was extra pillow cases for the kids that slept on the pull out couch. And there are two bathrooms, but only 1 has a shower in it. Overall, we had a great stay. Just had to change our shower schedules so we all could have hot water but we made it work. Hot tub was great, and when you pull in, all we could say was "WOW!" It is stunning. The views, the driveway in, the trees, it was just beautiful. And you couldn't see any neighbors. If there are more than 6 people, I would advise bringing a couple extra chairs for outside around the firepit, there are only 6 chairs. And if you visit, take the 12 min drive to the FriendLoop trail. It was about 2 hours and absolutely beautiful. Breath taking views. Would definitely go again and stay here.

Excellent location, beautiful cabin, clean, quiet and very spacious.

My family and I stayed at the bluebird and it was one of the best places we have stayed at so far. It was secluded and a quiet getaway. It was a few minute drive down to the river where you can hike, fish, kayak and even camp. Make sure you bring pens (we need for Yahtzee) and something to light the fire in the pit. The directions could have been more clear (less detail at the end) to say to stay on the road u til you reach the fork and the house is signed on the right. We came at night and took a wrong turn up a hill because we looked at the precise milage they said a hill would be. Small complaints for an overall amazing stay.

We were very comfortable staying here and even with a max group for the cabin sleeping arrangements fit us well. This cabin was stocked well with kitchen essentials, We would highly recommend staying here!

Our family rented the Bluebird Chalet for a long weekend stay from 7/9/21 - 7/12/21. There were seven of us. The place was comfortable but I felt somewhat mislead when finding out that the house only had one shower. The listing did say that the upstairs loft had a jetted tub but when the listing says two full baths we assumed that there would be two showers. When seven people want to shower and have to wait on one another, makes for quite a wait. Maybe we should have inquired a little more before booking. The MAJOR disappointment was the cleanliness of the place. There were cobwebs everywhere. I realize that the tall 12 foot windows are a challenge to clean... but... cobweds in closets and windowsills all over the house is rediculous. Also the shower...some kind of funk growing in the tile joints down low in the shower. There was also some very hard caked on mud that had obviously been there a while in front of the downstairs toilet. One of the lower cabinet doors in the kitchen wouldn't even close because the two hinges were barely screwed in, which I fixed. (You're welcome). The floors all over the house were absolutely filthy. The kidos walked around the kitchen one night after their shower and their feet were black. The hot tub had some kind of grit or sand in it. Other than that... it was a great weekend. Bluebird Chalet no more. For the price, expected so much more.

Cabin was in the perfect location for our family. I like to run and this area is good for a morning run and our teenagers enjoyed nights by the fire. Cabin is plenty big for a family of five and very clean. We enjoyed our visit to Broken Bow!

Went looking for peace and quiet and was very satisfied. Beautiful cabin and I would stay again. The only complaints I have are the roads are not in very good shape and whomever cleaned the floor before we got there didn’t do a very good job as our feet were pretty dirty after walking on them barefoot.

We had a two family weekend trip here and it was so much fun. Beautiful cabin, super quiet. Loved the private drive with young kids. Will defintley be back.

The property was awesome! Easy to find, nice flar driveway. Close distance to everything in the hochatown/ broken bow area. Hot tub and foosball table was icing on the cake! Highly recommend the cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. House is gorgeous and perfect location. We had 2 couples, 2 dogs and a baby and had lots of room. Hot tub was great and loved the wrap around porch.

This is the perfect place to unwind, disconnect and relax. We really enjoyed our stay. The firepit area was our hangout at night under the stars. The only suggestion I have is a mat for inside the downstairs shower, the floor was very slippery.

The first thing we noticed when entering the property was a musty/moldy, almost sewer-like smell. We noticed the floor was wet but thought that was because the cleaning crew had just left; however, that was not the case. During the entire stay, there was water seeping through the seams of the vinyl flooring in the kitchen and living room, so the floor was constantly wet. We could see water damage under the counters and the bookcase. I would assume that was where the smell was coming from. Other observations were: The hot tub is not level, so the water could not be filled properly. The bathroom towels and kitchen cloths look like they're about 10 years old; they're very worn. The bathroom door would not close unless you lifted up on it. This cabin has potential; however, it does need some work.

The cabin was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed it, even our dogs. We were so happy to find a cabin that didn't list a weight limit for our dogs. My 5 and 7 years olds did not want to leave. Only negatives were there wasn't propane for grill and chlorine instructions for hot tub were not prominently displayed. But we would definitely book this cabin again!

The cabin was nice. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The deck is at a slant so water continually pours out of the hot tub creating a very wet and dangerous deck. There’s some sort of moisture problem in the cabin. The floor was always wet. We often slipped but thankfully never fell. Anything we laid on the floor (dog beds, backpacks, etc.) would be sopping wet with water from the floor. Shoes must be worn in the house as the floor was very dirty with all the water build up. Not all areas are dusted and haven’t been in a very long time as some spots had dust 1” thick which resulted in those of us with allergies to suffer. The water collection didn’t help.

It was a nice stay. We had everything we needed. The jacuzzi tub was my favorite!

This was worth a short 3 hour drive from Dallas. It was very peaceful here and we loved our stay here. Very clean, nice and spacious. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place to anyone.

Having firewood on hand and 3 acres worth of room to explore made it a quick adventure for the dogs and kids. The fire pit and Adirondack chairs made evenings quite enjoyable. The hot tub was perfect after days spent out fishing and hiking. We enjoyed the trip.

It has everything you'll need, it was also away from people but just a short drive into town.

The property was clean, with working appliances. It was secluded with beautiful scenery.

My family and I enjoyed this cabin so much, my son had the experience of seeing bugs he's never seen, it was so peaceful and quiet. The moon had gotten so close it looked as if you could touch it, and the stars 🌟 omg. We enjoyed the jacuzzi also. Unfortunately we didn't get to grill because we didn't know how to operate it. When the owner was contacted we never received a response, so we cooked indoors. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely love this cabin! It’s such a wonderful place to take your entire family. My children absolutely loved this place and all the amenities. The hot tub outside and jetted tub upstairs we’re a hit. We will absolutely be back again!

The property was just as described, clean with everything in working condition. The layout of the property fit our needs very well. We plan on returning in the near future.
