Really beautiful house, garden and rooms. The breakfast was included and it was very tasty, with fruits and yoghurt, and a warm sandwich after. It was all vegetarian and very good to start the day. Coffee is available at any time, just ask the owners. The dining area is very cozy and artistic. Our room was big, with 2 beds and a private bathroom with hot water and good pressure. Everything was very clean with daily room cleaning service. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the location and it's beautiful garden. The two cats were nice to have around too.

The owner had not received notification of our booking, so he was surprised by our arrival at 11pm but made us completely at home and served us pleasantly. The family room that we had booked wasn't available due to an issue in the bathroom, but he offered us other rooms to make a sufficient number of beds. The breakfast was excellent, especially given that he prepared it without notice! Very cute place with a nice garden and pleasant breakfast room.

There was a sewer-ish smell in the bathroom; everything looked clean so we're not sure where it was coming from.

Loved the breakfast and the great location. They also have a cute cat that I enjoyed. They helped me arrange my taxi and were helpful and pleasant. I felt very safe and I enjoyed the garden area where I could sit and read.

Our room was very spacious and opened up onto a cute courtyard. It also felt very clean and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was great with variety each morning that included some sort of warm sandwich and a carefully put together bowl of yogurt with fruit or oatmeal with fruit. Very well located in La mariscal and also very safe.

The particular room we had had a squeaky bed that was not very comfortable.

We had a great stay at Sakti Hostal and extended twice. We have special dietary requirements (glutenfree and vegan), which Roberto catered for. In addition to breakfast, we were spoilt with the best soups and meals at lunchtime and in evenings for a reasonable price. This helped a lot. Thank you! Elena speaks English, which was very useful because our Spanish is quite poor. Elena has an artistic talent, which can be traced in all the nice decorative details in the hostal.

The hostal was quite cold, but we were provided with a heater and additional blankets, which helped. Our room was quite small for two people plus luggage.

It was clean. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent.

I reserved the king bed deluxe room as my husband it not a quiet sleeper. The more room on the bed the better. They mixed up the reservation and gave us a standard double bed. I didn't get much sleep due to the smaller bed. I was disappointed.

The location is convenient in the center of Mariscal.

The day of arrival I've been told, that they couldn't host me at the price I've booked. They asked me to pay more than I've agreed to on booking.com, then I could have the room. No matter, if I've received a reconfirmation from booking.com or not... There was either no will or no capacity to understand, that they're actually breaking a legally binding contract and that they're not allowed to change the terms after the confirmation. As I don't appreciate such mannerism, I looked for another place in Quito after a long day of traveling. Very disappointing and highly unprofessional.

Wonderful beautiful site, the owners are super kind and helpful. Left for quitumbe super early and the lady of the house packed me a breakfast (and the breakfast there is wonderful.) recommend 100% Also there’s kitty cats there.

This is a very cute and cozy place in the heart of Quito. Great location for sightseeing or city break. Beautiful and well maintained courtyard to hang out on the lazy days! Creative & tasty fruit plates for healthy morning starts! Delicious lunch & desserts conveniently available!!

It's an amazing beautiful vintage style hostel, situated in the heart of LA Mariscal near by everything. The breakfast was the most amazing and healthy I ever had. Also I eat an amazing vegetarian lunch. Everything was so great. Must return. 😊🤍🌹
