Beautiful, quiet place on the lake. Bob and Elaine left us fresh flowers and candy. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the lake our first morning. We loved our stay here.

We loved our weekend stay! The location was amazing! Great views of the lake. The cottage was so comfortable and spotlessly cleaned! The owners were great! They made sure we had everything we could possibly need, and they added thoughtful personal touches! We’ll definitely be back!

I booked this for my daughter and her boyfriend for a birthday getaway. My daughter loved it and said the owners were so kind. They even left her a present of homemade banana bread when she arrived!

Lovely homeowners with beautiful property. Close to several locations in the finger lakes region and Auburn is a quiet town with a good option of eateries. The stay was relaxing and welcoming.

Property was meticulously cared for with easy access to the lake. The room was rustic and clean. Owners were extremely friendly!

INCREDIBLE ACCOMMODATIONS . PLACE WAS SO CLEAN AND SO ORGANIZED . BOB WAS GREAT WITH THE CHECK IN PROCESS AND MAKING SURE ALL OUR NEEDS WERE MET . WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY . THE APARTMENT WAS EQUIPPED WITH EVERY THING WE NEEDED . AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WAS FULL OF THINGS TO DO AND GREAT PLACES TO EAT . WHAT A VIEW OF THE LAKE FROM THE PROPERTY . CAN'T WAIT TO STAY AGAIN !!!

The room was very clean and cared for, not a single detail was missed. Bob and Elaine were so friendly and welcoming! They even left us fresh cut flowers from their beautiful garden. Being able to access the water right from the property was a huge plus. Thanks for having us!

We spent three nights and two days, too short, and it was pure peace and relaxation or as the pillow on the bed states, Serenity. I should start by saying that as far as rental properties go this place is above and beyond any I've stayed. The hosts, Bob and Elaine, love their little peace of heaven. The grounds are superbly manicured and inviting. Just grab a blanket and recline on one of the zero gravity chairs right by the lake, heavenly. The hosts Bob and his lovely wife know how to make you feel special with the unique touches they provide; fresh cut flowers from their garden, chocolates, bottled water and homemade banana bread. I asked Bob if I could grill and he promptly made the small grill available to me. The hosts could not be kinder. There are many places to stay but only one Serenity Place. Thank you Bob and Elaine. It was a peaceful getaway close to the historic town of Auburn. The details in the room were well thought out. Beautiful view.

I can’t imagine a nicer spot for a lakeside getaway! The room and the property are beautiful, and the hosts, Bob and Elaine, are the absolute best folks you could ever meet! I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to go back again!

What a great visit. Beautiful views of Owasco Lake. Bob and Elaine were wonderful hosts, friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a drink with them by the lake. Room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced, great value. Close to downtown. We’ll be back…

I was in Auburn for two weeks dealing with some family issues. Starting and ending each day with the beautiful view of the lake helped me find some peace during this stressful time. The room was very comfortable and quiet- I had absolutely everything I needed during my stay. Thanks for sharing your beautiful spot with me.

Enjoyable & relaxing

This cozy cottage was exactly as it was depicted in the photos and was perfect for our needs. The landscaping was impeccable and the owners left an absolutely delicious load of banana bread for our enjoyment. Loved everything!!

We were in town for a friend’s wedding and decided to book two nights at this property overlooking the lake. Pictures are accurate, although I think it looks even better in person. Hosts were warm and friendly. I had forgotten to pack an iron, and Bob (owner) quickly lent me his. I was very impressed with how clean the unit was and the views of the water and gorgeous landscaping was unparalleled! Loved our short visit.

Bob and Elaine are very nice hosts and we greatly enjoyed the visit. The sunrise over Owasco Lake and the peacefulness of the lake in the evening is very special.

The home overlooks the lake, with beautiful views from the room, the patio and the chairs along the shore. Easy access to historical sites in Auburn and Seneca Falls, and less than 20 minutes to Skaneateles.
