We had a fabulous time, and the rental was perfect! We were on vacation with four children and there was more than enough room.

One of my favorite beach trips yet . The views from the room upstairs are amazing . Loved the location and the restaurant recommendations ! Definitely 5 stars and cannot wait to return !

We loved the condo! Overall the condo was one of the nicest we have stayed at. No complaints of the unit or the owner. The owner was quick to text back to any questions I had. The unit was. 5 star. If I had any recommendations it would only be on the walk to the beach. It would be nice if there was a wooden walkway out to where the beach starts. Overall the condo itself was. 5 star!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook breakfast and lunch. We loved the view from the balconies. The owner was quick to respond with our questions.

We had a great time at the property. It was clean, had everything to cook and prepare meals. All the beach accessories were a huge plus. Beach was family friendly as well as all the local restaurants. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. Brent was great to work with, super helpful, and always available.

This place is very clean and accommodating for a large family. The beach is very clean and your close to restaurants and stores.

We had a wonderful trip. The property was perfect and the beach access was great. Would definitely recommend it.

Our stay was excellent all around. My family (6 kids, ages 1-12) found everything very clean and we had room for everyone. We cooked our meals in the well-stocked kitchen, we were able to do laundry as needed, and the living spaces were big enough for our family to gather. The master bedroom was big enough for our little one to be in a pack and play in the room with us while my bigger kids shared the other two bedrooms. The beach is a short walk - even our one year old could walk along the trail to the beach. It was great to have a dedicated spot on the beach for us to set up especially as we watched the spaces to both sides of us fill up very early and end up very crowded. The one thing to note is that baby gear needs to be rented - Brent gave us the name of a rental service who was also excellent. (BabyQuip!) There are two sets of stairs (one up and one down) that for a one year old we had to gate off, but it worked for us. Brent was super responsive and easy to get in touch with throughout our trip for anything we might need. All said, this was a great rental for us and we hope to be back.

We absolutely loved staying at the Salty Dawg. Wish we could have stayed longer. The property is very comfortable and the views are incredible! Just steps to the gorgeous private beach with chairs and umbrellas provided by the owner. A very friendly heron stopped by to say hello both days. I would go back if I ever get the chance.

The Salty Dawg was wonderful! Brent made the whole renting experience easy. The home was extremely clean and well stocked. We were more than pleased! Was our first time in Perdido Key and we are happy we chose this unit to stay in. We will be back!! Thanks Brent!

Property was exactly as listed. We had two families with 8 people total (4 adults & 4 teenagers) and it was a perfect size. Everyone had a bed. Main living area was a little cramped in the evenings but it has a great bonus room in lower level. It had all the things to cook a fresh seafood meal. We especially loved the private beach access! We had a wonderful stay. Owner was just a text message away & super quick to respond.

We will be staying here again! Highly recommend. We enjoyed the convenience and beautiful location.

Perfect place for Fall Break. Great location! Great communication with owner. He even supplies beach chairs for you to use.

We stayed at The Salty Dawg with our 10 and 5 year old. The kids loved the bunk beds and enjoyed their time on the beach with the toys and boards provided with the rental. It was nice to have a garage to park in, but we found it a little tight for our Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was a small inconvenience to manually open and close the door each time so we didn't use it much. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware for us to prepare a few meals during our stay and we were able to wash all of our laundry before heading home. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and the closets had extra clean bedding if needed. We will definitely stay at The Salty Dawg again in the future.

Highly recommend this property. It was exactly as described. Seven adults slept comfortably. We will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Salty Dawg! The townhouse is very nice and the view is awesome! There were a couple minor maintenance things we noticed, but Brent was very quick to respond and willing to take care of it right away. My family loved our stay and can't wait to come back again!

The 3rd floor (blue room) is the best room with a deck and a view, it shares a bathroom with the bunk bed room. Lower level screened in porch has no view, the hammock area is directly under 2 large AC units. There is a comfortable pull out couch in the living room. Kitchen has cookware necessities. You should purchase; salt, pepper, trash bags, decent toilet paper, hand soap, etc.

It was great

This townhome was great and in great condition with the location directly on the beach and the layout of the rooms / beds. The umbrella and chairs provided were in good condition and, while we did not use them, there was a large variety of beach toys for younger kids. The area of the beach is not too busy and allowed us to always get a great spot by the water to enjoy our day. Lots of shower towels was helpful as well as extra blankets. We highly recommend this unit :)

The goal was to relax, and we did. Although the beach is one of the best in the US, personally I would not stay at this condo again only because it wasn’t the right fit for my family. I learned more about what we need so hope to make a better choice next time. This was our first trip to the beach with an 11 month old baby. I’m Grama. Salty Dawg delivers everything it promises, for the most part. It just wasn’t for us. The hike up hill in the sand to the beach, albeit short, was still a challenge in the heat with all the beach gear. I bought the Hammock but the area to hang it doesn’t get any wind so really too hot to enjoy in the summer months, with very limited view due to the sand dunes/vegetation. Very large snake directly in front of the condo by the beach eliminated the hammock idea for me anyway. Two full sets of stairs with the baby was also a challenge. One of the steps broke a couple days into our stay so that was a pain. Could have called for repairs but, frankly, just decided to work around it. The doors to the laundry came off the track on Day one. Never could get that working right but really not a big deal either. The washer is “very” small. Two large beach towels barely fit and didn’t rinse all the way so had to ring them out and hang to dry. Dryer is a “smart” dryer so way smarter than me. That means it stops running when it thinks the load is dry. It would not dry our babies lovey, which as you parents know is a MUST HAVE. I ended up using the blow dryer to dry it every day. The TV puts out a lot of heat so the living room area is always much warmer than the rest of the house. It’s very cold upstairs so we had to shut some of the vents for the baby’s room and adjust the ecobee multiple times a day - it’s smart too…. Bottom line is just that it wasn’t a good fit for us with a small baby.
