Lovely beach house where our family spent an enjoyable time together. The house has so much to offer, beautifully decorated and warm welcoming touches such as beach towels and kitchen and laundry supplies. The owner was quick to respond and helpful. We would definitely choose to come back again.

Overall the home was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of house and beach extras provided. The pool water was refreshing…not hot. Parking is tight, but workable. Highly recommend!

We had 10 people on our family vacation ranging from 10-72 and had an amazing time! The pool was shared by just both sides of a duplex so was very private! Grocery stores and restaurants were also conveniently located to the property.

We really enjoyed our time here. The house was well appointed and the owners communicated quickly.

Property wasn't quite ready at 5pm -- but not a complaint. They were leaving as we arrived at 5:30pm. Communication with owner was terrific and her local restaurant suggestions quite helpful! Elevator was helpful with luggage to floors 2 & 3. Kitchen had plenty of service for the 11 of us. Overall a great experience!

Three generations of our family loved our week at Lulla-by the Sea beach house. It is the best stocked and furnished of any we've rented. The location is highly convenient to Kure and Carolina Beach attractions, restaurants and amenities. The beach is wide and sandy, perfect for sunning or swimming. We loved running and walking on the beach for miles in both directions. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. The kitchen is large and perfect for preparing large family meals. The elevator is a big plus for getting luggage to the 3rd floor bedrooms. The outdoor area includes a very nice pool, quality large propane grill, deck chairs + table, and beach chairs. Parking for 4 vehicles (1 in garage) is a definite advantage. The owner is highly responsive, very pleasant to deal with, and completely committed to guests' satisfaction. Her support staff (cleaning, management) get the job done - well and quickly. Recommended without reservation! You will not be disappointed!

I could not get in and the manager responded immediately The codes didn’t work. It was frustrating to start a vacation like that. The manager Don was extremely helpful and nice.

This property was everything we hoped for. Beautiful views, spacious home, nice renovated kitchen. Everything was sparkling clean when we arrived, all the appliances were newer, kitchen was well stocked for anything you might want to cook, beds were comfortable. Perfect stay! Beautiful beach and lovely pool, 3 generations were happy!

Check in was a bit hectic but was due to previous renters leaving things a mess. Overall, it is a wonderful place, wonderful location and we had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

I've been leasing beachfront homes for the past 15 years for our family vacations each summer. We've stayed in homes from OBX, NC to St Simons Is. GA. This property did not disappoint. The furnishings and décor were beautiful. There was great attention to detail in every room. The linens and guest towels were luxury hotel quality and not the stiff, white, commercial type you might expect in a rental. The kitchen was by far the most well equipped of any I've seen. There were many extras provided like beach chairs, umbrella, pool toys and even a beach towel for each guest. The deck had ample seating for a large group and the pool was nice break from the surf and and sand and the end of the day. I highly recommend this property. ZP

Every effort was taken to make sure that we had everything we needed, from a fully stocked game closet, to labels in the cabinets to help us find things. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and sleep comfortably. The pool was such a fun addition for afternoons when we needed a break from the sand. The distance to the beach was perfect, and we enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrises from the porch. What a gem of a property!

Renee's home is absolutely lovely. There were eight of us enjoying a warm-weather December weekend at the beach. The deck was very comfortably outfitted and the kitchen lacked for nothing. The living space was comfortable for 8 adults. Check-in was super easy. Location was fabulous. We really loved it!

This is a beautiful duplex, and almost perfect for our multi-generational family. The updated coastal decor throughout was both tasteful and functional. We have stayed at many oceanfront homes and condos along the North Carolina/South Carolina coasts over the past 20 years, and this is one of the nicest and most upscale properties that we have ever rented. Although we were told that there would not be room for an air mattress in any of the bedrooms, we were able to put a twin size in each of the king rooms to help separate some of the young cousins who couldn’t settle down on the noisy bunk beds. There was a port-a-crib in the closet of the king room that shared a bath, which was very helpful for our 6-month old granddaughter. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could EVER need, and even things that you didn’t KNOW that you needed. There were plenty of family board games, books, and puzzles to keep us busy during the late afternoon showers…. which almost always resulted in stunning rainbows. We had taken our own spices, pantry items, trash bags, detergent, etc., but we were pleasantly surprised to find most of these items already in the cabinets when we arrived. We, along with other former guests, left our beach toys and boogie boards in the outdoor storage hamper on the deck above the pool for future guests. The waves, although sometimes dangerous, were incredible, and enjoyed by about a dozen surf-boarders at any given time throughout the day. The beach in front of our unit was pretty quiet, probably due to the lack of high rise condominium complexes and public beach access. The *pool was clean, and the 4 ft. depth allowed most of our grandchildren to touch the bottom on their “tippy-toes.” We were very fortunate to have had great neighbors with children with which to share the pool. (*A word of caution about the wooden pool deck: It is weathered and full of splinters, so nightly surgery might be required.) The Kure Beach Pier is about a 30-minute walk/5 minute drive, but since we did not have our own poles ( not even ONE!) , we were unable to fish. The admission for spectators is free; however, you must walk through the VERY expensive variety store to get to the pier. This was a great week, bringing some of our family together, from Washington State, Ohio, and North Carolina. We will remember our vacation to Kure Beach fondly and our week in Lulla-by the Sea B. We had a great stay at Lullaby The Sea! The house was beautiful and we had everything we needed for our week at the beach. The only thing that wasn’t 5 stars was the grill, it took forever to cook our food.

We just finished a weeklong stay. We couldn’t have been happier!

The home was over and beyond expectations! Everything we needed was provided. The home is light, bright, extremely clean and tastefully decorated in a coastal motif. The beach was beautiful and the pool was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed so preparing meals was a breeze. We had wonderful neighbors with children who made friends with our children. I arranged this week to celebrate my 70th birthday with my children and grandchildren. It was our first family vacation in 10 years and everyone had an incredible time. Renee and her property manager, Steve, responded quickly to every question. It was the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend this property for an amazing carefree beach vacation.

This house was great! We arrived to a spotless house, many towels, bars of soap in every bathroom, and a beautiful view off the back deck. House is very well stocked with kitchen tools to cook great meals. Highly recommended!

Great location + the house had just about everything we needed. House was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Only negatives were due to the shared deck — smoking neighbors and a loud party from another neighbor one night.

We had an awesome time at Lullaby The Sea. Renee was very attentive from the very beginning of the booking process and even throughout our stay. I had questions after check in and she responded right away. Thank you Renee!! The home is beautiful and very clean. We wiped down before we brought in our belongings but we really didn't need to. We were very impressed. I was happy to see the pool was uncovered when we got there so we were able to enjoy that as well. The kitchen is huge and FULLY stocked. Everything you could think of needing was supplied....even beach towels. You literally only need your clothes and groceries. I will pack lighter on our next stay. The updates made to the home are beautiful. We loved the clean, beachy feel of the decor and all the natural light shining through. It was a calming feeling throughout the entire home. And with the beach a few steps away made it even better. We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again in the future.

My family and I had an enjoyable stay at Carolina Beach! The house was right on the beach and provided all the comforts of home. Even though it was windy and a little on the cool side, we walked on the beach, dipped our toes into the ocean, and spent quality time with each other. Thank you, Renee!

The home was better in person than the photos show. The views are wonderful from main living area and upstairs master. The owner provided many towels including beach towels. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. It’s updated nicely. We enjoyed the gas fireplace since it was a cold week during our stay. We loved the beach. It’s very walkable and clean. We enjoyed Havana’s for brunch, Jack Makerals for patio seating. The bikes provided were fun. We definitely would return.

What a beautiful property Lullaby at the Sea is. This home was well designed with top notch finishes and plenty of room indoor and outdoor fun! The attention to detail was so well thought out. The location is central to everything needed for your stay and you are literally steps away from the ocean. The only place we want to stay on our next visit to Kure Beach! Loved it!
