This property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful space, gorgeous view, and well appointed. Everything you could possibly need from kitchen essentials to beach equipment. My family really enjoyed everything this place had to offer, and we had a truly memorable vacation as a result. One tiny issue was some of the utensils and plates needed extra cleaning, but that’s probably on the previous vacationers. The property management company was also super nice and helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

We always enjoy our time in this community and 23-1 was a great unit. Management team communicated great upon arrival through checkout. High recommend this unit.

Even though there is a handicap elevator, there is no handle or even a soap dish in the glass wall for seniors who have balance problems. We called hosts near the end of our stay to ask for a portable shower handle support (master bath is a large open one - no wall or door at the entrance or end, but were told all of the units are built that way - no help offered. Removable one could be purchased at Home Depot, etc. Had to make do with sponge baths and husband's support - kind of put a big damper on the stay - Tried the other 2 showers in unit and they had no support handles either - very dangerous! Owners should be told of this problem.

This property is immaculate, stunningly beautiful and truly exceptional. Never seen a kitchen so well stocked. This place has everything! Books, games, full-sized laundry, bar ware, gorgeous lanai, perfect location, and relaxing pool.

The location, clubhouse and pool area is great. The grill needs repaired and the front right burner on the gas range would not light. Working the TV is very complicated and instruction would be very helpful. Overall, great unit, great views and would definitely rent it again.

This was my first ever vacation rental. In the past I’ve always opted to stay at hotels and resorts. In this case, however, I wanted to be able to bring my family, including my adult children and one year old grandchild, together under one roof with some of the conveniences of home, such as kitchen and laundry, that are particularly helpful to accommodate an infant. I couldn’t have been happier. The unit was spacious, clean and very well provisioned for a week-long stay, including a high chair, pack and play and even pool floats and beach toys for the baby. The family had a marvelous vacation and spent more time together than we possibly could have if we had been in separate (and pricey) hotel rooms. The complex was also ideally located in Wailea with easy access to beaches, hotels, shops, golf etc. Would happily stay there again.

Wonderful location - spectacular view; well- equipped kitchen; instructions easy to follow. No problem with WiFi. Highly recommend - would come back.

The accommodations were amazing and even better than the pictures! Eric, our contact, was super helpful even before our trip and made sure we had everything we needed. I’m quite particular about cleanliness and this place was impeccable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you could possibly need. I actually fell ill during the trip and was glad to have such a spacious place to recuperate in. And the view is spectacular and you can watch the sunset from both the living area and master bedroom. The location in Wailea is perfect and close to so many activities. The little gourmet market nearby had delicious options for us as well. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else and that’s saying a lot!!

Property is very nice and well stocked. There was plenty of beach gear including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, as well as a collapsible wagon to carry everything as it is a bit of a walk to the beach. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for our group of 8. View from the main floor is amazing!

This is a beautiful property, spotlessly clean, well-appointed and spacious. The kitchen is particularly well-stocked, and the garage has plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, pool noodles, coolers, and a wagon. The beds were comfy and the sunset view from the lanai is gorgeous! The owners were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!

This Ho'olei unit is fantastic. We loved the space and location. I think we spent every meal we could out on the lanai plus you could watch the whales from there too. Everyone associated with this condo was very kind and helpful. We can not wait to be back!

This was the perfect place to end our stay on Maui. The property is serene, spacious, nicely furnished and well stocked. Although we did not do much cooking, the kitchen is incredibly well stocked, with most small appliances and gadgets and plenty of dish and glassware. The views from both the upstairs and downstairs are stunning. We look forward to returning for a longer stay.

This property is amazing. Management is excellent and responsive. Great views,roomy, comfortable with wonderful bed/bathrooms The unit is perfect for my wife ,myself and our 2 adult children with spouses. Perfect location in Wailea. We will definitely rent from them again at Hooelei in Wailea. We just got back from our two week stay at this property and cannot say enough great things about it. The photos do not do it justice, this property is very spacious, high-end furnishings throughout, amazing views and location. It was one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed at on Maui. The unit is spaced out nicely over two floors, which was perfect for our family of 4, as well as our parents who also stayed with us. Our family was able to spread out in the lower level bedrooms, leaving our parents with a nice-sized bedroom on the main floor. All of the bedrooms are very comfortable, each with their own good-sized bathroom. We loved cooking in the massive kitchen which came equipped with everything we needed. Our favorite part was the sliding patio wall that opens up onto a huge lanai with a large eating area. We ate all of our meals outside with views of the ocean and whales every day. We used the community pool and weight room every day. We found the pool never crowded, and were always able to find chairs. The pool itself is beautiful with a grotto and waterfall. The kids loved it. We also enjoyed regular walks down to the beach from our unit. Just be aware that the property is in a very steep, hilly community, and some may find the walk down to the pool or beach a bit strenuous depending on health. There is a small parking lot at the pool for those with mobility issues, and the beach parking was never full when we were there. Daisy and Eric, were great property managers and very attentive to all of our needs during our stay. We would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again. Aloha!

We had a wonderful stay in this property in Wailea. Exactly as advertised. Spotlessly clean when we entered. Very well set up for families with a full kitchen set up with every possible appliance you could need. Came supplied with beach umbrellas and beach chairs which was very handy for heading down to the beach. Incredibly spacious. Particularly during these difficult times it was very nice to be able to have a property that was very comfortable to relax in and to prepare our own meals and have quality family time. Would definitely rent again.

We just got back from an amazing 8 days in Maui. We had a great time in this home. It was the perfect location, with perfect amount of space. Will definitely look to stay here again. It was AWESOME!

This house is spacious and comfortable. And close to the beach! We had a fabulous time!

Fantastic property in every way. Very spacious, unbelievable ocean views, great location and convenient access to best Wailea beaches. Home is equipped with everything you need, especially the gourmet kitchen with multiple seating options. We hired a private chef (Rob Mason) who prepared our best meal of the trip on the beautiful lanai. Property manager was attentive and promptly answered the few questions we had during the trip. Will definitely return!

Eric and staff were more than friendly and accommodating - plus, the condo is just a marvelous location to stay.

We went with 2 other couples for an adults/parents week away and had a great time! The views were great that there wasn't a lot of need to go anywhere else! Also, the pool area is amazing too. Just like you are at a 5 star resort!!

The property is beautiful and the property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. However the property desperately needs maintenance. We found that the housekeeping was horrible. There was a high chair that had food still stuck on it that we cleaned ourselves. Additionally the carpet had not been vacuumed for some time. 2 of the gas stove burners were not working. The mattresses were old and need replacement. The bedroom downstairs needs some lamps or ceiling lights. The existing lights are not bright.The house view was great and the patio was really nice to sit in but wish the homeowners/property managers would invest in a few updates and pay attention to the home.
