Location is fantastic

Balcony and views were superb. Comfortable mattress. Spacious apartment. Well equipped apartment. Very clean. Superb location.

I have stayed in 8 different places in Forster in the last 30 years. This has been the worst holiday. There was no information sheet eg How to operate the TV., or where to locate the garbage bins, or how to operate the grill exit at basement level to leave the premises. There was no wheelchair access to front or back door. The offstreet parking was not adequate... garage was too narrow to reverse from safely, and alternative parking on the premises was not always available My husband needed to use a walker to leave the premises, as it was not wheelchair accessible. He fell when stepping down a ledge into the downstairs parking area.. He sprained his wrist, split his head open and required medical treatment and stitches.

Amazing water views, walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Great apartment size for a small family.

The dishwasher drained the hot water which meant you couldn't have a shower if the dishwasher was running.

The location

Apartment wasn't cleaned at all before we arrived. The Tennant before us left some rubbish and no toilet seat paper strip was on the seat to show it had been cleaned and the used mattress protector was still on the bed, and we didn't realise this for two nights. A horrible smell of dencor rub was in the apartment which we finally realised was in the mattress and soaked through somehow. I changed the protector, washed my sheets and still the odor came through instantly and also on my nighty and skin. My eyes burned and were irritated and watery. We reported this and one receptionist offered us a new room and then she was advised that because we had other beds in our apartment that that wouldn't be possible. We had 2 single beds and I think that was simply unexeptable for my husband and I to sleep seperatly. This has been a lot of unnecessary pressure, worry and unhappiness for us. I am a very easy going person but I feel sickened about all this the more I think about it especially in this world we live in with covid. I am a full time carer for my mum and the amount of organising to even get away for a few days is enormous so to say we are disappointed is an understatement. My mum is very vulnerable so what has happened with staying in an apartment that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival is unacceptable. I just can't shake this horrible feeling.

The location was good being close to all facilities, bed was comfortable and parking was good.

The furniture was old with pillows looking like they were from the forties and smelt. the bed cover was also old. there were insufficient places to put our clothes and food i.e. in the bedroom there were no chest of draws. we had to place them on the floor. The kitchen had no food pantry as they were all filled up with crockery. For people staying for 2 weeks or more people need sufficient space to put things away so they are not lying around the unit. We have stayed there before and the furniture is the same and also my daughter there and nothing has changed. There is 1 clock which is the bedroom and we had to put it in the lounge room. we had 2 other families stay in other units there and there units were good.

Could get rid of the old lounge pillows. Think it would be hot in summer with no air con.
