Great place with enough cook ware to feed big groups and the beachfront courtyard is awesome. Will return.

My spouse and I recently concluded our four day destination wedding at Pelican Point. The beauty and ambiance of the Pelican Point on top of the magical zen of Rincon itself, made our wedding a truly amazing lifetime experience. Plus, the convenience of having outdoor grills and the option to just step next door to Tamboo for food and drinks made Pelican Point the most practical and chaos-free venue we could have hoped for. In fact, I felt I couldn't even wait until we got home to write this review. I'm cutting into my valuable beach time just to implore you to consider holding your wedding at Pelican Point next to Tamboo in Rincon, PR. Trust me, it will be epic..

This is our third time staying. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible. This time if year is very quiet. Our previous stays were in February. Yes, Tamboo can be loud, but with the air conditioner on you can sleep with no problems. We love it here and will definitely be back!!

Hi Jim, I hope you are well. First of all, I would like to thank you and all your staff for the excellent service they offered during our stay in Pelican Point. I have to mention that it was a great family vacation. Both my children, as my wife and other relatives had pleasant and very nice moments in Rincon. I didn't know how wonderful was Rincon until this past weekend. Everything was great, the apartment, the yard, the grill, the time at the beach, and above all the best service. I would also like to let you know I found several opportunities for improvement in relationship to the apartment D. First, the lock on the front door needs to be replaced, since it does not close easily and occasionally appears to be locked when it is open. Also upon arrival I had to tell Elier to help me turn on the fan in the living room because it doesn't turn on properly. Elier indicated to me that we need to push the blades to turn on and thus step. Anyway, look old and stays all day doing an uncomfortable and annoying noise. At the end the best part here is that you will definitely be our first choice when we want to return someday to spend our summer vacation or spend a good time in Rincon. We are so happy. Just stayed at Pelican point for a family reunion. I will give the review I wish I could have read. There is no question about the beautiful beach - that part is amazing. It is also right next door to Tamboo Bar which has benefits and drawbacks. We were there for 7 nights and on Friday and Saturday the bar played loud music until 2 a.m.. The worst was after it closed having to listen to all the yelling, laughing, car racing, etc., in the street out front. Just know that on these two days you will not sleep until after 2:30 a.m.. This is definitely the weekend party spot in Rincon. On the other 5 days there was no noise and they closed early. The property is much deteriorated since the photos here were taken. It was also not clean when we arrived. It had been "Cleaned" but it was clearly not clean to any standards we are comfortable with.We don't expect Vacation rentals in the Caribbean to be mainland quality, but we don't want to feel we are living in someone else's germs. Some of the beds were very uncomfortable, and others were very nice so that depends on which room you get. The description says the kitchen is newly remodeled. There are 9 kitchens so it depends which one you get. In general the kitchens are like the rest of the property, wearing down. The utensils and cooking supplies are old and in many cases dirty. As an example of the neglect, the fan in the penthouse had a blade missing and the light was broken. This is more than cosmetic since there is no AC in the living area, making the fans very important. The bedrooms have AC which work very well, when they work. We had two go out on us during our stay even though we carefully followed instructions to only run them while we were sleeping. When you see the condition of most of the units it is no surprise they failed. They are rotting inside and out from the harsh ocean air. Some were newer, and now two more are new so hopefully this will not be so much of a problem. To the owner's credit, when our ACs went out they were repaired the next day, even though I am sure on this end of the island that was a difficult task to accomplish. The owner is very helpful, as is Elier, but the property really needs some maintenance. The location however is incredible. I hate to write a bad review because we had a great vacation, but the property is not as clean or as maintained as described and it would not take much for the owner to bring it up to a reasonable standard. I assume he just didn't know.

Pelican Point is a great place directly on the beach! We had our wedding there on May 23, 2015. We had to rent out all 5 units in order to take over the back patio area, which we did, and there were no problems re-arranging things, bringing in live music, and partying all night. All of my guests were pleased. Just know, the rental company has much nicer properties a bit further away from the beach, and Pelican Point is not as nice, but has great access to the beach for surfers especially. If you're looking for something nicer and more comfortable, consider staying in a different rental. If the beach is your priority, or you're looking to party at Tamboo, this is a great choice!

WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We made reservations online for 2 nights with Elier the "property manager", and from the moment he handed us the key the property had NO electricity. Elier said they were expecting to get the electricity back at any moment. Well we didn't get power until LATE the next day!!! And to make matters worse the water went out the next morning! We left messages for Elier and he didn't even return our call. In spite of our complaining and the lack of services, these people didn't even give us the courtesy of providing us with any money back...not even a penny back! By the way, we learned while we were there that the electricity goes out a lot in that area; however, the hotels to the left and to the right of us had generators which was on all night for their guests. Pelican Point did NOT have a generator. So at least when you're hunting for a place, ask if they have a generator...at least you'll be more comfortable if the lights go out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you don't want your vacation ruined by unprofessional and uncaring people!

My wife and I recently were married on October 19th, 2014 at this breathtaking venue/location. We rented the ENTIRE place and accommodated most of our friends and family who made the trip who also loved Pelican Pointe. The view's are fantastic and the rooms comfortable. The large beachfront patio is PERFECT for a wedding reception/event! With Tamboo (the popular beachbar in Rincon) right next door we were literally steps away from good food, drinks, service, and live music at night. It was a great experience of some Puerto Rico culture. There was a hammock for every apartment and one on the beach patio so it was quite relaxing when desired. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE KNOWING YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! Although, There is no washer or dryer on premises and only 1 towel per allotted guest so plan accordingly. It would have been nice to have another set a keys per apartment since we had different couples per room, however this did not detract from our incredible experience. My wife and friends all look forward and have spoken about planning another vacation in the future. We look forward to returning back to this blissful paradise. One side note, the ocean is very rough in this part of Rincon so be advised as it is the big surfing area. It is beautiful to watch the surfers and as an adult play in the waves crashing on the shore but very dangerous for children to play in unattended. Again, this was not a negative and did not detract from a simply perfect experience.

Stop looking!! This is the spot!!! We absolutely LOVED this apartment on Sandy Beach. It was the perfect getaway and so authentic! The view from the balcony was gorgeous! We spent quite a few moments just laying in the hammock on the balcony listening to the waves in the background. Elier and his daughter were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and provided information about the area. Elier even went above and beyond when we requested a mattress pad for the master bedroom and instead brought a BRAND NEW (email hidden)esome!! Sandy Beach is beautiful and has a cool bar next door called Tamboo which we met some really cool peeps. And across the street is Kabanas, don't skip this little outdoor restaurant, the fish or chicken tacos are the best on the island!!! Wifi was available and pretty consistent for the most part and directions were on point! You cannot beat the price for this awesome little gem!!! Thanks Elier...you're the best!!!

This apartment was fantastic. It really is right on Sandy Beach, which is gorgeous. The balcony overlooking the beach was a great perk - we had breakfast there every morning. Tamboo, the bar about 20 feet away, is a fun place to hang out. We also liked the courtyard with loungers, hammocks, and a nice BBQ grill. The apartment itself had everything we needed and the AC works great. Elier was very responsive in planning our stay. Elier's daughter checked us in within minutes of calling her when we arrived, always answered our calls, and even let us check out a few hours late so we could spend extra time on the beach! No important negatives - this is the place to stay at a great price in Rincon. The shower didn't get hot, but who cares when you're spending the day in the sun at the beach.

We greatly enjoyed staying here. The view and the sound of the waves are amazing! The location is the best and is right across from the best fish tacos we found in Puerto Rico. It's next to a very popular bar that has music on some weekends, but it was nice to be able to walk home after hanging out there. Elier is very hospitable and good host.

Hi there , still excited remembering my Family get-together to celebrated my 60 th Birthday . We rent the whole Property , the best spot in the Rincon Area , the Facilities are right on the beach , maybe wetting your feets no more than 20 steps , the owner Jim and his team always available , Go for it .

We rented out the entire place for a destination wedding on the beach behind Pelican Point, it was beyond what the pictures show. I was so impressed with the layout of the rooms, the location to the beach and surrounding restaurants. The wedding location was perfect (on the beach) and the reception in the back veranda was great as we just had to walk up the stairs. The surf was amazing just steps from the back patios. Ideal location, amazing surfing and well worth the visit! We will be back
