My family had 5 rooms booked and accommodated all of us perfectly

Reception staff could have been friendlier, only one or two, others were lovely

Room very hot and t v reception very poor, reported to staff and a fan provided and reception improved but still not great. Hotel location a taxi ride outside Clonmel.

The hotel is well maintained and rooms very nice.

There were 4 party's on the evening of our stay. We had no warning and the music went on until 3am. It was very loud and did not get quite until 3am. The manager was not apologetic.

Room was a standard family room; one double and a single bed. Coffee and tea facilities. Safe and TV with normal channels. Room appeared to be recently renovated. Swimming pool was good with a hot tub, steam room and sauna beside the pool. Hotel dinner in the Wheat Bar was very good.

There appeared to be a lack of hotel staff at the bar during the day and in the breakfast room in the morning. The main two negatives points we found were: kids were not allowed in the pool before 9:30am, as it was adults only. Since my child was up from 7:00am, it's a little crazy on a weekend that we couldn't use the pool not even the child's pool. They had a swim lane in the pool anyway. Next was breakfast. we ordered coffee and tea which never turned up. The breakfast was to run to 11:00am, we arrived down at 10:20am and there was little in the way of hot food available. They said they would refill, but it never happened.

The dinner was fantastic and reception and breakfast staff were very friendly

The smell from the drains in bathroom permeated the bedroom. Stained ironing board in view Wobbly table in room best not used for drinks. The pillows were strange they would deflate as you lie down. The heating was a bit extra far too hot.

Room was not good, damp smell in the bathroom poor visibility on TV screen, no tea and coffee facilities badly laid out furniture amd mis fitting. Ironing board on veiw with no where to store it. no net curtins for privacy/ 109 euro, without breakfast, disgraceful

the heat was unbearable in the rooms it’s the only thing I would have complaint about

carpet in the room was stained with dirt. dust was thick on all surfaces. when we pulled back the duvet the sheet was all crumpled up which leads me to believe our bed was not changed

The ease of booking. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. The room was warm and comfortable.

That breakfast finish at 9.30 am... Should serf breakfast till 10 am..

Even though the hotel is under going some renovations it was still welcoming and pleasant. Spotlessly clean. Great heat throughout the hotel. Food beautiful. Great choice for breakfasts. The staff were friendly and polite and engaging. Definitely going to go back.

The newly refurbished room we had was lovely. The smart TV won’t let you cast iPhones though!

The noise during the night kept me awake. I informed receptionist who asked the noisy guests to stop making noise. additional noise early in the Morning woke me again (furniture movement) and after that I was wide awake. A staff member probably should walk the corridors at night to ensure it’s quiet. Especially as you ask for €150 cash at check in “in case” there are complaints of us being noisy.
