A Sunday is an odd day to arrive as it is self service in the afternoon. You need to contact the hotel the day before arriving to get the main gate (Garage door type) entry code. I forgot and was a bit confused when we arrived to find everything locked up. I took out my mobile phone to ring for help and found a message telling me the code. There was nobody in reception but a sheet of paper with names on and key numbers and of course some keys. From then on it was plain sailing. I was very impressed with the forethought that the hotel had shown. The bathroom was fully functional and supplied liquid soap which I find convenient. The Hotel is a two minute walk from the "London Pub" and a pint of Guinness.

It would have been nice if the wifi password could have been in the room. I had to wait until someone was available for reception to get the password but it wasn't really a problem and the gentleman was very friendly and helpful.

Roof did not fall in.

The freshly renovated rooms were well appointed and tastefully finished. They each had their own individual style. The breakfast choice and range was excellent and we enjoyed the international clientele.

The lack of a restaurant and bar. such a shame when everything else is excellent.

The hotel was very good value for money, and well located in the centre of Evreux. The room was up to expectations, the facilities worked well. The protected parking was easily accessible, the breakfast was excellent and generous.

We were disappointed to fine that the hotel restaurant was not operational, but understood that the chef had left at short notice as there was not enough trade to justify his professional service. However, the Hotel made a very presentable meal with soup and a main course for each of us which was very agreeable, as we were too tired to go out and find a restaurant.

Hotel restaurant was closed when we arrived at 7pm, and all the restaurants in town were closed on Monday! Only one café was open and we had to share their only remaining portion of lasagne with stale bread.

The room was filthy and no alternative offered. I found somewhere else. No compensation offered.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Bed was excellent. Clean.

Upgrade rooms

Nice typically French room - it was comfortable with a lovely large bath in the bathroom. Perfectly located to explore the town without having to drive anywhere. I would recommend and I will stay again,
