Location is great for Kassel, right next to the train station with easy access to public transport.

Depending on the room, the tram/bus noise can be loud.

Everything was very clean, and if you don't want room service to go into the room and touch your things while you're out there is options there so they absolutely do not go into the room, which I've had quite issues with in other hotels where they insist on getting in the room even if I didn't want room service. Because of the pandemic I don't want others coming into the room and touching my belongings, so it was very nice that they had easy to use options to deny room service in this hotel. I also quite like the use of liquid soap for washing your hands, I dislike it when hotels give me bar soap that gets all slimy during my stay. This way no excess soap is wasted, and everything stays clean. Though the dispenser is annoying to use since you have to squeeze the sides of the bottle with decent force to make it dispense, I doubt kids or weak old people could use these.

The windows are not good quality, when closed it still sounds like the window is slightly open, you can hear the outside street quite a lot and cold air comes in through the closed window, the heater doesn't really get hot, so with the heater on maximum it slightly cancels out the cold from the window, making the room normal room temperature, but it won't get warmer than that. And that was in a nice october weekend with ok weather, in winter it's probably nasty cold. Also the wifi was nowhere to be found, I checked everyday and my phone never once saw the option for any hotel wifi. The breakfast was way too expensive considering it hardly offered anything for that money. It cost 17 euros. I've been to 4-5 star hotels where the breakfast costs 12-15 euros and they offered like five times the amount of options, including luxury options. Where as here for 17 euros you got the absolute most basic basic boring breakfast options, 17 euros is a scam price. The bathroom was also quite small, but at least clean.

The hotel is right next to the train station. The tram station to kassel Mitte is also right in front of the hotel, so it is very convenient to move in Kassel.

The lobby was so dark that I couldn't see the entrance easily.

We especially liked opening our window to see over the train station to the Hercules fountain on the mountain in the distance. The room was small but well appointed. Very clean, great staff. Bed was comfortable . Great location, just roll your suitcases to the side of the railroad station and you are there. You get a free pass for all of the trams and buses which are located in front of the train station.

It was a little more pricy that we would have liked, but it was worth it for the convenience.

I did like the professional approaches of the team in the reception and compensation offered to us. Breakfast facilities are excellent. Great to be there.

The Hotel is good for those traveling by train, because the Hotel was very close to the railway station. The size of the bathroom was enough, but the water pressure was low. The staff was very kindly and helpfully. The Hotel has own restaurant, which it is open from 6PM.

The Hotel could not provide parking place, therefore the guests had to parking on the street or the local parking lot, which was far to the Hotel (min. 5 minute). The room was very small for three persons. There was no air conditioner. Room view was very poor. The price-value ratio is not adequate, because in the Germany such Hotels are cheeper. I booked one room for three persons, but when we arrived, the Hotel staff hadn't prepared the extra bed, therefore we had to wait for the room. The Hotel restaurant was expensive.

Some stuff was a bit unfriendly when asking for recommendations on places (e.g bakery shop) with the comment that restaurant offers a breakfast

proximity to railway / tram station which gives easy access to entire Kassel. The railway station has bakeries and supermarkets where foods and drinks are available at reasonable price.

Lack of air-conditioning - it was not necessary 10 years ago when I stayed here for documeta13 but year 2022 Kassel can be very hot in summer. Good thing is that the room has a large window and it can be opened!

I had asked for a quiet room but they gave me one facing the front and near the lift landing. I asked to change my room. They did it immediately giving me a room at the back which was nice a quiet.

It would have been better if they had given me a quiet room from the start since I had asked for that specifically when I was booking.

Good location for travel by train, close to Bergpark, easy check-in

Streetcar and bus stop outside very noisy 24/7, rooms not sufficiently isolated. Originally booked a room for three but had to reschedule and travel alone - despite the price being the same, room was downgraded to a single and even second pillow taken away. Public transport only starts at 10:30am on Sundays, quite a distance from city centre
