The location is beautiful. While the hotel is old, the service is very friendly and it offers good value for money. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view over the lake. The breakfast buffet was also very good and the hotel has also a fine dining restaurant overlooking the lake.

It’s a bit old, and maybe some renovation would upgrade it, but otherwise it’s very nice and we had a lovely stay.

Visit to the spa: jacuzzi didn’t work and the tiles are falling off the spa area. Needs a renovation for sure. The breakfast is ok but not up to the standards of 5* hotel. Expected to have fresh smoothies, Joghurt, omelette or pancakes but in reality none of those…

The staff was friendly and supportive and the hotel provided all the requirements for us and the rooms were always clean I would strongly recommend it

The room was spacious, with a fantastic view of Lugano lake. A lot of wardrobes and drawers (for the hotel room). The bathroom was also big, with a good modern shower cabin. The bed and pillows are comfortable (not the sofa bed, where my child was sleeping). The breakfast is great! the cigar bar is really nice and the people working there are very good! in the reception area, they have lemon water nearly at all times, which was my favorite thing. The outdoor pool is beautiful, spacious, clean, and with a marvelous view. The indoor pool area is also clean, but quite small. The hotel offers a motor boat ride, it is not free, but you do not need a driver as no license was needed for this type of boat and it was a great experience for us. PS the bar offers great snacks with the drinks!

The sofa bed where my child was sleeping was really hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant food was not good, we tried the pizza (margarita) and it was bad... even though breakfast is great, somehow pizza was inedible. Also, we were asked to park the car somewhere behind the hotel, when plenty of empty spaces were available in the front parking area... eventually they allowed us to stay in the front area, but it was a weird thing to ask.

The view from the room is absolutely fantastic overlooking Lago di Lugano. Breakfast was great anfd Spa facilities ware awesome.

Totally amazing experience with super service by all the staff. The spa was well equipped, the room was clean and the breakfast was very fresh. We would definitely like to return.

Awesome location with direct access to lake. And a short drive / walk to charming Morcote village along water. Great facilities in general. Very generous buffet breakfast and very nice room-service offering.
