The property was very lovely, fully equipped kitchen, rooms, fresh towels, cleaning stuffs. Location also very good, close to the airport and to the beaches as well. They have good communication with customers, I recommend to text them on WhatsApp,, their response is very quick. Our flight was delayed with hours (6 hours), we arrived much later than the opening hours, so they left open the villa's door for us to be able to get in.

Unfortunately there was a tree that blocked the sun over the pool after 15.30hrs, it would be a bonus if that was cut back.

Great location above Son Bou but you do need a car unless you are super fit! Quiet gated community of 14 villas managed by menorca villas. Villas are very spacious, well furnished, very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Pool towels very useful addition as well as tea towels! Lovely pool and plenty of space. We had a really lovely time!

The master bedroom bathroom needs some TLC. A few things were a little tired but it was at the very end of the season, so understandable. The lights outside and the terrace awning didn’t work at first but we WhatsApped Menorca Villas as per instructions and the issues were sorted immediately. Very impressed with the level of service.

Location was in a quiet /peaceful residential area, a Car is a necessity as the villa is at the top of steep hill, the taxi from the airport had difficulty in finding the address that we had been given, went to the wrong location first attempt, also Taxis are expensive! The reception staff were helpful as on the 2 occasions we needed a Taxi, we had to ask them to call for us as from the address we were giving the drivers couldn't find us. Maybe offer the option of a Welcome pack with a few basics, water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter especially if arriving late afternoon / evening. Shops, bars, restaurants at the bottom of the hill (approx 1/2 - 3/4 mile away.) Local supermarkets expensive, with a car you can travel either into Mao (20 mins from Son Bou or Ciutadella 40mins away) and use Lidl which we did a shop for the week, saved us quite a few euro!! Son Bou small resort, but it seems many businesses have closed or just not re-opened maybe due to pandemic, limited bars and restaurants are open but when I say limited< I stress LIMITED----- CASA ANDRES, ended up our main go to eating out place, quality food, pleasant surroundings, advise booking as very busy. COPACABANA BURGER Restaurant nice breakfast and lunch, comfortable seating, unfortunately shuts at 5pm. Hawaiian Bar ok as is the Kit Cat Bar Lots of great beaches but unfortunately we are not beach lovers, the people are lovely and very accommodating. Ciutadella, Fornells ( great fish restaurants) and Mahon worth visiting, everywhere else seems pretty much the same Our First and Last visit to Menorca, we are not beach lovers, but the island seems to be in need of investment which during the global financial environment, I cannot see happening for a few years

We used Goldcars, paid for full insurance cover so no high deposit payment and no worries if something unto ward happened.

We were met with an awful musty/damp smell when we walked in the property along with broken/dirty lamps, very hard beds with stains on the bed linen, dated uninviting bathrooms, dead woodlice dotted around the floor, small flies - generally the property is outdated and uninviting. The weather was not kind to us on our stay but the fact that there was no working heating and nothing could be sorted until the following day made us take the decision to stay at hotel that evening. When we arrived back the next day the lamps had been removed, bed linen changed and the heating was on. Unfortunately the smell was still there and the beds and bathrooms still looked uninviting so we left early. I have contacted the villa rental company since we came home to requested a refund even for the first night as we could not stay at the villa but have heard nothing and presume we probably wont. If we had read ALL of the property reviews we would have seen that these issues came up quite a lot.

Great villa with everything you need for a great relaxing holiday, including 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, lovely pool and living facilities. Definitely requires a hire car as the villa is on top of a steep hill but the location makes it very peaceful.

Some more english tv channels would be nice and the wifi would drop out occasionally. Sometimes there would not be any hot water, only seemed to be in the mornings.

The house, location and amenities, properness

Excellent location in a really quiet area, really well maintained inside and out, with well provisioned tableware, glasses and cutlery etc. High standard of cleanliness and sanitisation for Covid-19. Towel, bed linen replacement and mid stay cleaning included if staying over 7 days. Pool maintenance was regular too.

From a health and safety perspective I would suggest putting up some caution signs in the villas about the hot water temperature in the kitchen, bathroom, showers, it was at scalding point upon first use - once you knew, you could adjust accordingly.

Very nice surrounding area and property. Property was clean and very good amenities. Grounds were very nice and very clean.

There was no clear or highlighted instruction that the keys would be 1Km away from the accommodation. We were dropped off at the villa with our luggage and had to walk to receive the keys and make our way back to the villa. There was no hot water in the villa. I contact the reception three times with no answer and left a message. There no reply to any of the contact attempts

The villa is a great size and very spacious. It has a large garden, which is well maintained. Plenty of space to lounge around, good cooking facilities, including a bbq, and lots of furniture, inside and out. The outside lighting transforms the villa at night. The staff were really friendly, and they were very helpful.

The last two seasons have been a struggle for everyone, especially the travel industry and you can see this reflected in some of the upkeep. Nothing that would stop you staying there, and anything that is not quite right I am sure they will be working to rectify as the industry recovers. The main bed was as hard as I have ever experienced and not something I would want to repeat!

The villa was perfect for us for our short stay in October. Having 3 ensuite bathrooms is a bonus. The villa was extremely well equipped for cooking and dining. The garden was very pleasant and well looked after.

Mosquitoes and flies - not the property’s problem so to speak. Also, kids were very noisy but again kids are kids.
