Very friendly staff, always ready to help and give useful information about how to best spend time in Merano

The friendliness of the staff was amazing. We truly felt spoiled throughout the stay. Breakfast buffet was great with everything fresh and plentiful (even the best soft-boiled eggs we’re had for some time). During evenings the staff exeptionally opened the terrasse for us to enjoy a goodnight drink. We were advised on great hiking trips (Meraner Höhenweg), local flea markets, and the spa (Merano Therme) which was perfect for the teenagers. Upon leaving we could enjoy the late check-out and leave the car in the garage until leaving. Hotel was in short walking distance to great downtown restaurants.

The hotel lays at walking distance from Merano’s center. People are extremely friendly and helpful and it was good value for money.

I am sure it will be better in spring and summer when that part of the town is more lively. we were there n a rainy day of December.

All was suuuper., the room, the brekfast was very , very good..the sweets made by the lady of the house and all the staff , also the owners and their family were sooo friendly and proffesionals.The pool was an oasis in the city. In one word...WON DER FUL. Hope we can return one day and stay longer.

Windsor hotel was like an oasis in Merano. The staff were attentive and facilities were spotless.

I highly recommend the Windsor Merano. Fantastic location — right on the river with a beautiful garden and pool, an easy walk to the thermal baths, city center or the train station. Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Best of all is the family who runs the hotel — so warm and welcoming. This is a great spot!

What a perfect place to stay in Merano! We loved the location - a few minutes walk to the center where we ate at three different restaurants, all that were recommended to us by the hotel and all were fabulous. We had a car and appreciated being able to park it and still use it for day trips from the city. The pool was MUCH used as it was very hot when we were there. Breakfast was amazing - so many choices with different sweet cakes each day. This was a lovely spot and we highly recommend it!

Extremely friendly staff and owners, very smart throughout but still with a family vibe, everything was just perfect, and the best stay I have ever had in a hotel. Feels like you are at home and still in a very stylish, elegant and refined setting. There wasn't a single thing I didn't like. Apart from the extreme cleanliness, decor and comfort of the property, the best thing was how nice and polite the family running the hotels are.

Hard to think of something that could be improved when everything looks and feels so perfect!

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient for exploring Meran: Close enough to the city to walk and explore the old town, but also far enough away to avoid late night city noise. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. You can reserve a space to park on site in the garage if you arrive by car. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was a highlight as was relaxing by the pool. Our impression was that the hotel is likely smaller than some of the surrounding hotels which means there were fewer people at the pool or in the whirlpool, so a chair etc was always easily available. We also appreciated that the staff took Corona rules seriously by implementing separated breakfast times for the guests, always wearing masks and having hand sanitizer throughout the hotel and near surfaces people might frequently touch.

No complaints, everything was wonderful.
