Perfect central location. Friendly staff. Generous and varied breakfast. Quiet room.

Beds weren't very comfortable, very soft mattresses. If you're vegetarian you need to tell this. The hotel assumes that everyone wants a plate full of charcuterie, and eggs with bacon.

Great location in the centre of the town, although not easy to find due to the narrow one-way streets. Best place to park is the public car park by the bridge as you approach the town and then walk. Amazing breakfast. So much food and a huge variety of meats, cheeses and breads. The owner welcomed us with a glass of something local, which can only be described as ‘Rocket fuel’. A very nice welcome to use all. The building was very quirky and old. It had bags of character

Everything creaked. The floors, the beds and the stairs. Our bed seemed to tilt head down slightly and we got very little sleep. We were a bit concerned about the electrics as they were several extension leads all over the room, one even balanced on the top of the headboard, with several things plugged into it. Sadly the lack of sleep would put us off staying again.

Great location in the centre of Monschau. Very friendly and helpful staff. Huge breakfast. We were even offered a free beer on arrival.
