Beautiful location, fantastic breakfast, friendly staff. Couldn't be better, ate dinner here twice as it's far out of the village but that was not a hardship - great menu selection also for vegetarians and close to some fabulous walking and cycling trails.

The location works for visitors who owns a car. To access from Koeningstein, visitors must walk around 1 km going up a very steep hill. There is one bus line with a stop close by the hotel but it's schedule is twice a day, one on the morning another at the early afternoon. So planning the day to fit the schedule is not productive.

Breakfast was fine....high German standard. Beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere in the back garden. Good accomodation for reguest for motorcycle parking. Good access to hiking trails.

The hotel is very remote and isolated ...which is fine as a nature destination. But there is most often NO meal service at lunch and dinner.... very sporadic and unpredicable. There are virtually no other restaurants in the vicinity. This is a major inconvenience unless you bring your own food from the other side of the Elbe... about 10 km away.

The hotel is well located and surrounded by nature. The room was average and old - but ok. Staff were helpful and friendly. the Terrasse with the view is very nice. in a nutshell it’s overpriced but not bad

the breakfast was quiet fulfilling with a variety of options. the Staffs were friendly & even offered us wine glasses when we ordered a jar of wine in our room.

The beds were so-so and we wish the restaurant or bar would have been open a bit longer.

Clean and calm.

The staff at the reception seemed bothered by us instead of welcoming. The breakfast menu is not replenished when empty and you need to keep asking the staff for more as if not it is left as is. There is no toaster to toast bread. The toilet in the room was a small prefab inside the room, cramped space. There is no kettle in the room, which was small. The facilities were not very covid friendly and nobody was using masks. Sauna and other facilities were closed due to covid restrictions, but this was not mentioned when doing the reservation.
