Hotel maksymalnie 3gwiazdkowy. Bardzo brudno. Pleśń na wentylacji, odpadający tynk, tłuste plamy na ścianiach, windzie. Do tego robaki/ insekty w łazience w pokoju plus smród z kanalizacji. Brak deski do prasowania, nieczynny basen. Recepcja która nie odpowiada na telefony. Pokój był łączony z innym pokojem - wszystko słychać, płacz dziecka sąsiadów w nocy co wiązało się nieprzespaną nocą.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen mit tollem Strandanschluss. Noch mehr Punkte haben mir gefallen aber leider überwiegt das schlechte…
Die Zimmer (wir hatten eine Suite) ist gross aber leider lieblos eingerichtet, veraltet und nicht gründlich geputzt. Die Sauberkeit war nicht schlimm aber für ein fünf Sterne Hotel bin ich anders gewohnt. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr ringhörig. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufgestellt aber recht oft nicht bei der Sache, vergassen Sachen oder laufen im Restaurant mit leeren Händen zurück ohne abzuräumen. Der Poolbereich ist gross aber auch hier hatten wir das Gefühl das er in der Woche nie geputzt wurde. Alles sehr schade, denn wenn sie ein wenig besser schauen würden und das Areal unterhalten, wäre dies ein sehr schönes Hotel. Aber Stand jetzt auf keinen Fall ein fünf Sternehotel. Eher untere Grenze an 4 Sternen.

Fantastic location.
It definitely needs an update. We stayed here in 2019 and they needed an update then. The shower was mildewed and moldy. The furniture is old and the bed, well, really need to invest in an actual king size bed since their clientele are huge Brits and big Americans.

I like the location and the views, just to the beach. The gardens and swimming pools really well maintened
First, we got the room in a separate building, so you have to go to the street to get to the main one, where the restaurant is. Second, the soundproofing is terrible, I could hear all from the next room. Third, the gym and spa were not working, they offered an alternative 10 minutes by car. And finally, the buffet for dinner was really few variety and expensive for the offer.

Nice outdoor pools, the beach access, proximity to Albufeira.
Staff were mostly unavailable. Reception, and housekeeping were not accessible at nights and all calls at nights (before 12) were remained unanswered.
The duvet was not covered with a duvet cover and it felt very bad to know you share a duvet with the other guests.
Breakfast had many options but it was more of quantity than quality.
Very bad small in the bathroom of our suite (maybe because we were on the ground floor)
Also it felt cheap that hotel with this price, charge you for espresso capsules in your room for €1. Sth that even all airbnbs apartments provide these days. It felt anything but hospitality

Although our stay was short we did manage to have time in the pool, it was an amazing setting. The room was large with a pool and ocean view that was first class with comfortable beds and clean.
After recieving many warm welcoming messages from the hotel leading up to our stay. However the checkin process was cold and not very welcoming. Although our stay was short and offer of help with our luggage would have been appreciated. This was not offered. In the evenening I asked for directions to the pool. The gentleman at reception seemed offended by my request. Overall a beautiful hotel but customer service not 5 star as advertised.

Spacious and clean. Excellent nightly entertainment in the jazz bar. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Suites were not equipped with plates/ utensils, etc even though full kitchen included. Buffet dinner lacked variety.

Beautiful hotel, lovely apartment for our family of 5. Conveniently situated near a lovely beach and close to beautiful towns.
The only thing I would recommend is to put crockery and cutlery in the self catering apartment. There wasn’t any crockery or cutlery which deceived the purpose of self catering.

Paying €16 for a sandwich by the pool, it came in a cardboard box like you’d get one from the grocery store. Way too over priced.

It is really hard to find something not to like about this property, but if I have to mention something I’d say that they would need to have a hot tub in the pool area. I think they will greatly benefit from having one or several hot tubs

The first night we ordered room service, which arrived 35mins later than expected because the person didn’t note down the correct room number. The food turned up stone cold and really was poor.

The staff was always very nice and attentive, from the first day we got an upgrade to a bigger room and a view to the pool and ocean which was very appreciated, thanks again! The food at breakfast was good and in the evening the buffet was great (we tried the Italian and Portuguese eveinings). Also, I was positively surprised when I received a bottle of Raposeira and a cake in our bedroom for my birhtday, what a lovely attention, thanks again! We also loved the location, the facilities and the private access to the beach!
The only thing I would improve is the decoration in the room and perhaps do some works because some of the equipments are slightly getting old (especially for a 5 star hotel, the standards need to be maintained) :)

Very good breakfast, nice location, clean, 5 star property. Would recommend because of the price we got.
The “soundproofing” that was advertised wasn’t true. There was a door between rooms that is locked, but you can hear strangers like they are in your room. Maybe the window is soundproof, but the doors and walls are not. It was difficult to sleep, but the staff was ready to do something about noisy neighbours if needed.

Location and overall Hotel was fine, staff are friendly
The groups of parting British and Irish tourists really diminish this hotel, they party and carry on all hours. The staff cant control them and the walls of this hotel are paper thin between rooms.
