We were met by Maria to settle us in, she introduced herself and gave us a tour of the room, the host had left us a couple of bottles of water and a jar of her legendary cookies, which more than lived up to expectations and as mentioned by others. The studio was spotlessly clean and there were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom the added bonus was the bakery below. We both agreed that we couldn’t have wanted anything more , the location was perfect with the beach just across the road and the proximity to town was just right, we were lucky to get a couple of recommendations from her for two really good restaurants and at the Methexis we had the best meal we have had on Crete to date.
Nothing reallly, the host made us feel most welcome and at home

Maria is the best host in Paleochora. The place is right above the best Bakery in town and the view at the sunset from the balcony is astonishing.

Room was ready on arrival. All things were great. The drink and biscuits werre well received. Our host could not have done anymore for us.

Extremely comfortable well equipped rooms. The host was superb, very helpful and friendly, couldn't have been nicer. The apartment was very close to the beach, and all that the town had to offer was only a short easy walk away.
The home made biscuits were yummy!!
Really nothing. There were no 'views' particularly but as everything worth viewing was so close that didn't matter.

Really clean cosy appartment right next to the castle in the center of the old town in a historic building. Everything easy to reach but still quiet an calm. Many restaurants and supermarkt next door. Lovely host, who runs the pottery shop in the same building. Eventhough I arrived to early she was super flexible and have me the key early. All in all definitly a place I would like to come back to@

Spotless room, wonderful host, great location. Maria added special touches of homemade biscuits and drinks on arrival and departure. Would highly recommend these rooms and definitely stay here again.

The location is excelent - easy to explore beaches, gorges and mountains. Accomodation absolutely the best - Maria is helpfull pretty host. If we will come back to Crete, we must visit this place again!

Everything was great, Maria is such a warm and friendly host , she even provides koulourakia ( traditional Greek biscuits) that she has made herself in the room with traditional Greek liquor. The room is exceptionally clean and comfortable and right by the sandy beach.

Very lovely place, beautiful sunset from the balcony. Kitchen is small but very well equiped. Maria is lovely, her cookies and raki are delicious and there is a refill every day :)
In the morning a bit noisy because of traffic, but location is perfect, everything is close, bakery, supermarket, beach, main center.

Amazing hospitality! The rooms were really comfortable and they included a washing machine. The owner is very friendly and made us feel really welcome. The location is very convenient with quite a lot of available parking and just a step away from the center.

Very clean, very comfortable house with all the necessary properties for a family , kind staff, perfect location near to the center , supermarket and sea.

The apartment was perfect. lots of attention to detail. The location of the apartment was perfect. just a short walk to the supermarket and the bars. fantastic place. would definately return on my next trip there. Maria was the perfect host. Thanks again

Maria the owner, who lives in the same building, is extremely friendly and obliging. The room includes cooking facilities. Home-baked cookies and liqueur were waiting for us on arrival and we got a small bottle of the home-made cherry-liqueur when we left. The beach is 10 meters away and the old town 200 meters.

Ostria Rooms is an excellent place to stay in Palaiochora, just across the road from the main beach, with a good bakery/cafe adjoining and a supermarket conveniently close by. It's just a short walk to the main streets of the town with lots of restaurants and tavernas and parking is provided on the premises. Maria was welcoming and helpful and was careful about the Covid requirements. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

I had a most pleasant stay at Ostria Rooms. Maria is a lovely, wonderful hostess. She keeps her rooms very clean and pays attention to all details. The location directly across from the sandy beach is unbeatable. Everything else you might need (restaurants, bars, super markets, bakery, shops) is in very close proximity as well.
I can highly recommend Ostria Rooms.
