Goed bed en mooi hotel op leuke locatie!

Hotel is zeker geschikt voor een geplande romantische culinaire bestemming. Voor alleen als tussenstop om te genieten is het hotel niet geschikt. Niet flexibel in hun aanpak. De ontvangst werd door onbekwaam persoon gedaan. Gelukkig in de ochtend stond er een zeer goede medewerker. Ontbijt vond ik weinig keuze echter eten was van goede kwaliteit.
Hotel bar was gesloten voor renovatie, dat kan gebeuren maar dat stond nergens aangegeven op een website dat laatste is slecht.
Restaurant was vol en vroeg ik voor roomservice. Ik kreeg twee keuzes ov er telefoon (vis of vlees) verder was er niets mogelijk. Na doorvragen mocht ik beneden de wijnkaart in komen zien als ik een glas wijn wilde bestellen. Uiteindelijk hebben ze een restaurant voor me geboekt (die was goed en dichtbij)

Breakfast fantastic and the coffee. They even made gf bread for me.
Room service excellent, although limited room service menu again they had gf bread and made a special croque monsieur. Breakfast room is stunning and parking so easy.
We were woken too early from a handyman above. He was noisy and painting the hallway above too early. The hotel compensated for this although I would have liked a lie-in!

Location is amazing, central enough to have close access to the old city. Just around the corner is the main restaurant street with a vast amount of lovely places to dine.
We were put in room 4, which is at the top of the main stairs on the landing with two chairs out the front. Two drunk women decided to come in at 3am and sit outside our room, talking at full volume for over 30 minutes. Also, people using the stairs to come up from dinner or go down to breakfast often woke us up. The hotel and staff are amazing. Just ensure that you are not placed in the same room unless you are a heavy sleeper.

A lovely hotel, and we enjoyed views of the garden from our room which was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Fixing a few details could make this hotel even better - it was difficult to plug in our phone chargers behind the nightstand and it would be nice if they had better situated plugs or docking stations. The hair dryers are also small and not very powerful, and a hotel like this should have higher quality ones to offer.

Lovely welcome the gentleman who helped park our car and also all the staff at the reception desk it was a nice clean hotel and also very comfortable
Breakfast was very uncomfortable with the waiter not being particularly helpful, it looked as if there was a problem in the kitchen we only wanted a simple breakfast but this seemed to be a problem

No access to bar, lounge/library area. Restaurant was closed on Monday evenings. Nowhere to relax, to have a coffee outside your bedroom. So in the hotel we could only be in our bedroom or go out. Not satisfactory in terms of 5* hotel experience. €30 per night for parking on hotel grounds.

Very helpful staff was quick and pleasant at resolving the problems of the stay
On arrival we were taken to a room in the wing of the courtyard which could only be reached by walking through open air. The entrance was through a hole in a wall, and we had to climb stairs to the first floor to enter. The room was of modest size; the bathroom was tiny. It took strong protests to be moved to the main building to a better room served with a lift.
Our car was parked at the cost of €30 per night in the courtyard, but instead of cast iron security, it was moved around throughout the day.

The tv is poor (very small) and no movies or satellite channels
The shower could have been better (more power, more luxurious)
